#110With some browsers, if you clear the history after logging in, it logs you out of your account. And the simple fact that the password is transmitted via a URL in a non-secure log-in (it's an http: URL, not an https: one) means that any hacker who can figure out what URL you just went to already knows your BP password, even if you then delete the history.Comment -

#116So any update on this? It's now well into Monday's business day. If the OP hasn't received assistance from BetPhoenix in sorting this out and getting their funds, they might want to consider filing a complaint here at SBR to get things moving.Comment -

#118This just gets worse and worse. Obviously there are major problems at BP. As Darkhorse said, if this is a major security breach, and it certainly appears to be at this point, you will not hear a word from BP until the problem is resolved, which could be weeks or longer. If this was an inside job, it will take BP months to fix the problem.Comment -

#123any updates?
fukk betphoenix , why are they still rated B+????
SBR is becoming a joke , they take the bp banner on top of the website down when they had some server issues , but when multiple customers get scammed in a similiar way they dont do shit .
I wonder how many people got fukked that way by bp, since there is only a very small percentage of sbr posters out of their customer base.
There is absolutely no way i'm going to send them any money soon.Comment -

#124I'm not out any money, I was just commenting on the security issue. Actually, one of the biggest reasons I've never kept more than a small balance at BP was because of the security issues.Comment -

#125Not much is new on my side. Richard did respond to my email yesterday and said that he is having his CTO to look into my case. He said he will get back to me sometime next week with an update.

#126Has this poster been instructed to keep quiet until BP does an investigation? You think there would be an update on Bet Phoenix account money being lost in the casino while the account holder is talking to BP live chat.Comment -

#127Does anyone see anything suspicious here? Is it just me, or is everyone else missing the most suspicious thing going on here. Where is the original poster? He has not posted, one way or the other, since the 10th. This appears like a payoff to me. The original poster is refunded his money under the condition that he keep quiet about the whole issue. Obviously BP had a major security breech, or tried to scam players out of money. Either way, if it is made public, they are out of business. Why anyone would continue to play there is well beyond my comprehension. I mean you only have about 500 options other than BP.Comment -

#130Sports betting and handicapping forum: discuss picks, odds, and predictions for upcoming games and results on latest bets.
I just got the runaround from their manager.
Him: "We like having you as a customer and we want to do everything we can to help you, but think about it from the casino's perspective if everyone who loses comes back and says they didn't lose"
Me: "I understand that but I'm saying I didn't log in, I've never played in your casino, and you can verify that I only bet NBA sides by going through the account history. Also, if you could get me the IP addresses of who logged in and played at the Casino, I can do my own research and see where they originated from."
Him: "But you understand that if the IP originated from somewhere else, you could just call your friend there and tell him go play roulette and if you win, that's good, and if not, I'll just call up the book and tell them that it wasn't me and not lose anything"
Me: "That's great but I didn't do that. If you could just get me the IP addresses so that I could do my own research and see where they originated from, I'd appreciate that."
Him: "Let me call you back in 5 minutes"
That was 10 minutes ago.
Hey OP has the money magically re-appeared back into your account too? Did the Richard guy who posters in both threads were referring to ever come back from vacation? Wtf is going on here?Comment -

#134Sorry for the lack of update in recent weeks, but quite frankly there isn't anything to update. I have exchanged emails with Richard several times during the course of the month and each time Richard said he will need more time for the investigation to be completed. I think I have been more than patient with BP, giving them every opportunity to investigate the problem and get back to me. I have decided to submit a complaint form to SBR with the hope that SBR can contact BP on my behalf to look at the case. If a SBR employee can let me know that they have received my complaint and will work on the case, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
