#212If I remember correctly, SBR didn't take the case any further because they told you that YouWager wanted to talk to you first. You said that you didn't care to talk to them again, which is certainly your right, but it put a stop to the process. I still don't understand why you took that approach. Take the phone call, remove the blockage, and allow SBR to work with YouWager.
You so sure SBR will or would have helped me, when I can't even get a hold of the guy who is even dealing with my complaint, I must have sent him 15 separate emails and not one damn response back to even say "hey we are working on it".
Oh you really think if I talk to the book it will change anything? I think not, I have already tried numerous times threw email to get them to talk to different people in charge to see if they can work something out with me but all I get is to call for a stinking $200. So where does that leave me? With absolutely nothing. They won't even work with me to give me my original $1000 back.
The whole calling thing this guy Optional said was just his opinion or misread of something that was said along the way from the original thread. From the way he was talking he didn't even talk to the guy who is dealing with the complaint or he doesn't even know one thing about the complaint.Comment -

#213I see where he is getting this whole calling thing from. It's not to call and talk to them its only to call and get paid the $200. I remember saying I didn't want to call and settle for only $200 which is what this book wants to only give me. What Optional doesn't realize is that these people said I'm only getting $200, I think the exact words is "its a final decision". They don't want me to call to talk to them, its way past any of that.Comment -

#216Yeah are you so sure about that because that guy Optional said so, when he didn't even review anything about my issue? All he did was make some reason that had nothing to do with me because of some other poster in order to close the thread so they could silence me I guess. Then at the end of the thread he said to contact him if I wanted the tread reopened, I did that and asked him to please open the thread back up because thats what he said. The response I got was no can't do that and then he goes dark not responding to any more of the pms I send him.

The book asked you to call in to speak to a specific manager.
I asked if you had called and you ignored me and kept obfuscating.
I asked again when you kept complaining and you said you kept emailing instead as you "did not care to speak to them on the phone again".
YOU MADE YOUR OWN BED BY REFUSING TO PARTICIPATE and then your thread turned into people smearing SBR for not just forcing Youwager to pay you anyway. You don't get to play those games here.
Don't come at me or SBR again like this and make me explain for people what happened again. You made your own choice and you can cry about it somewhere else now..Comment -

Just for the record I already did call before and spoke with a manager about this and he didn't budge or wouldn't budge about this money, hes stuck on only giving me $200. Not to mention I was treated by him like I'm some stupid kid or something and he was so rude I can't even begin to describe.
So tell me Optional since its not your money that is being taken here what do I do? According to you I'm crying, which I'm not. The only thing I have been doing is telling my story to players who ask about this book so they don't have what happened to me to happen to them. I actually already wrote the money off as a loss because I don't feel like I'm even getting my $1000 back. I don't see how this is crying.
Truthfully so far from what you are saying, you make it sound like I did something wrong but there has been nothing shown upto this point that I even did anything wrong with this book and I'm certain nothing will either, they just straight up stole me balance because they could and without even looking into it further your trying to make me to be the bad player here.
But since I'm pretty busy with my normal life I will check in periodically to see how things are here at SBR. Funny how this is my first legitimate complaint here in the 9 years I've been with SBR and I'm even getting crap from a mod, I think I made a small payout complaint years ago when I first started playing with Betonline cause they were taking long to pay me but it was resolved easily when SBR helped me. But now that I have an actual case you wan't to just turn a cold shoulder on me and think I'm playing some kind of game. Not sure in the thread where the games you say I did but I think I handled myself properly and never was out of line. Thanks for the help though.Comment -

#220How does this miscommunication happen? SBR says “We asked player to do X and he didn’t.” Player says “SBR never asked me to do that.”
Is it a breakdown between player and case agent? Case agent and mod? So frustrating to not know what’s going on. Player seems sincere. It appears SBR wants to help. What’s the rub?Comment -

#221Quarius,
It sounds like there is a phone number you need to call to provide some info and you will be paid. This sounds pretty reasonable. Just get this number from SBR or Opti and call them and let us know what happens.
I want you to get paid and so does everyone else on this thread. It sounds like if you put out a little more effort you will get your money.
However, if you aren't even willing to make a phone call then I have no sympathy for you.Comment -

He spoke about it himself in the original thread.
It sounds like his chance at that route has expired now though, based on how he says Youwager are treating him (if true...).
I really do not want to entertain/help this guy any more. As you can see above, it's a constant smear on SBR he goes for and we put up with it for several pages until it became obvious he was not going to make the call needed to move forward. How the hell is it SBRs fault he is suspicious and needs to answer some questions?! And why does anyone even want us to try and tell them to stop investigating him.Last edited by Optional; 10-19-20, 01:55 PM..Comment -

Maybe you're right - that it is too late, and this relationship is broken beyond repair. I just wish things like this could be sorted out earlier in the process. I hate seeing this. His case sounded legitimate, and if so, the big sportsbook got away with another shady move over one of its customers.Last edited by DontTailMe; 10-19-20, 02:54 PM.Comment -

I originally spoke with one of the managers on the phone already, he thinks $200 is the right way to deal with this.
I don't think I have said anything bad about SBR here, actually I did have trust for you. What did I say to smear SBR? How is saying I don't get a response back a smear? Maybe other people came in to speak bad but where is all this bad stuff coming from me?Comment -

#228Okay, but what I mean is, at some point the SBR case manager must have told him to follow through with the call first, right? I assume this is the case because, if that request wan't made, then how could Quarius possibly know that's what the SBR case manager was waiting on? Meanwhile, it appears Quarius is saying that request from the SBR case manager never happened. These are the breakdowns which are so frustrating to follow because I want to believe both of you. And yes, he's a little salty now, but if there truly was a communication problem, I think we all would understand why he feels that way.

This case is very frustrating.
Whether it's been 6 weeks or a year Youwager doesn't have the right to keep OP's money. You should call Youwager and tell them what's going on. If they still refuse to give you your money come back here and report it.Comment -

#229You're best to try and deal with this through the complaint procedure. If you reply to the email with the original copy of your complaint form in it, it goes to the manager of the dispute agents. Ask him if he can get a senior YW manager to review what went on..Comment -

Anyway, I am not going to rehash that and am not the one responsible for your case. Do what I said in post #28 and see how you go. Both SBR and Youwager are on the same page as far as not touching player deposits, so I am suspicious that you are just harping on with the $200 thing and not telling the full story of why only that much..Comment -

#236"They are using the freeplays won in your account and your normal bets you made lost which brings your balance to $200"
OK, so they did give you some sort of justification that $200 was the correct amount by the sounds.

Not only was I lied to about being able to have accounts at both places when I asked Betpop but they are using that rule(Which is nowhere to be found anywhere) to make my balance $200. To be honest if they never told me I could have accounts at both I wouldn't have even made the deposit. Also I've played at places like 5dimes and Betonline no real issues ever.Comment -

#238FYI: I filed a complaint with SBR on October 12th. I received the automated response for the complaint form, but nothing else. Followed up on October 18th by email and still haven't heard anything.
I think we can agree that anyone who doesn't participate in the process doesn't deserve to get their dispute resolved. But the original point of this thread is that these guys are not following the procedures laid out on their own website by limiting withdrawals to $2k every 10 days. This is outrageous for an "A" sportsbook, and SBR should either get YouWager in line or lower their rating, in my opinion.
I will call whoever they want me to call in order for me to get my money at a reasonable pace. I'll send 100 selfies, I'll do a video call, I'll even send a DNA sample. I want this resolved and am willing to participate.Comment -

#239Well this was said over the phone when I talked to them. I can't really say word for word but I can try and do my best. They are using some rule about me having an account at Betpop getting freeplays there, then having an account at Youwager and getting a freeplay with them. So because that my freeplay winning are nullified and my non free play bets which lost to bring my balance to $200. There is a problem with this story because the guy I spoke with on the phone said I'm free to play with them but not allowed to have any bonuses, instead he lied to me and my account was closed back- so basically I never had a shot at winning in this place only to lose my deposit, so why should my freeplays that won get nullified then my cash bets which were after get added in also as losses if my account is closed.
Not only was I lied to about being able to have accounts at both places when I asked Betpop but they are using that rule(Which is nowhere to be found anywhere) to make my balance $200. Technically if your cash bets lost and they have a valid reason to cancel the bonus bets, that $200 result is fair industry practice.
But given the "confusion" over your eligibility for the bonus I think it would be reasonable to ask Youwager to consider showing some goodwill and cancelling all betting from that deposit and reset your balance to the original amount.
If you think that would be satisfactory, I'd suggest submitting a new SBR complaint form asking specifically for that.
Can't guarantee anything, but if YW can verify what you say about CS giving you bad info, I'd be hopeful that would look at that idea favorably.

#241You know what I just remembered, not sure if this changes anything with my issue. I did bet all the freeplays first in my account which made my account go between $3000-$3500, then after that technically I was betting with the freeplay cash winnings that they voided out, which could be considered the freeplay money for the bets that lost. Either way I'm happy to try and do what you said to have them just void all bets on the account to get it back to the original deposit. I will submit a new complaint today. Thanks for your help.
Just to reconfirm, the only reason they are voiding your bonus bets is because you had a betpop account right?Comment -

If you PM me a copy of your exact betting history post deposit I can verify the calculation for you, but from experience I'd be 90% sure YW got it correct.
I understand it sucks to lose wins when you feel like you did nothing wrong but if I thought arguing for the bonus wins would work, I'd say so.

#244Stay Away from YouWager!
My problems with YouWager started two days ago. While playing blackjack on their classic version my available balance went from $367 to $79 and then $129. I immediately reached out to them. Dante their Casino Manager got to the bottom of it and they fixed my account.
Yesterday when I logged in to my account I noticed they had removed the Ravens game but never credited the money back. They said they would look into it and fix it.
In the interim I deposited and additional $193 because I had a few plays in NCAAB I wanted to put in. I lost one, pushed another and won one. They arbitrarily kept that money.
I called again last night and asked why? I spoke to JP and he said they would have the technician’s look at it and it would be fixed by tomorrow(today). I log into my account and nothing is fixed.
I called again this morning and spoke to Edward. Edward said JP did nothing, their are no emails about fixing anything and now he would have technicians look into it it could take all day and maybe by tomorrow.
I took screen shots of everything, I have emails, theses guys are cheats and they will steal your money. It’s happening to me, oh and by the way when you call to get what could be an issue they will not fix it.
In my opinion YouWager is at best a D rated book.Comment -
