Have you filed a complaint with SBR yet?

They may not be able to assist you with whatever went wrong at Moneybookers but 5Dimes attitude isn't acceptable and they may be able to assist you on that front.

My complain is with moneybookers closing my account and refusing to tell me why. i have been with them for a few years and never had a issue with them. i was a vip member who did regular transactions to sportsbooks.
it all started when my brother who joined a few years ago tried to get his 1500 out of his account and was asked for his id.. he sent them his id and got a email saying his accounts closed due to security reasons.
we were shocked his account would be closed as he only used it a couple of times and doesnt do sportsbetting and sent in his licence id. but the shock didnt end there...after no problems with moneybookers for years i got a email asking me for my id..id already sent them my id as u have to do that to be a vip member...to my surprise i also got a email saying my account was closed to security reasons. we both got exactly the same email.
i called them and emailed them 20 times or so and the people keep saing about sections and terms and conditions but cant tell me exactly what thing i did. it says they have the right to close it if they thikn u breach a condition but doesnt say which one i breached..so i assume its there system things its fishy that 2 people in the same house have the same bday. also another clue i got was a bookie said that there is a fraud issue with moneybookers and my account. i really am a twin and am completely offended at the way moneybookers are handling this..ive had a bookie saying they wont pay me unless i fix up the problem with moneybookers..i have 7900 in there and will lose it unless moneybookers fix up this mess..i have 20 000 in another bookie and they say if i dont use moneybookers i have to pay 3000 to send it by **. i am with some other bookise that also like to withdraw back to the place u deposited

A apology isnt good enough although all i want is to be able to use it to get my money..i already said to them just let me get my money out of some bookies and then they can close it or ill lose the money..but they said they cant do anything about it.

People in different parts of the world have different habits. I don't know what is the case in USA, but according to the Hollywood films, typical young American lives in another town and get in touch with his parents once a month.
Just saying that you can't judge according to that where and with whom someone lives, is he rich and good or bad punter. This is just stupid.

If I were in your place, wavey, I would scan and also take a photo (both in high resolution) of both, yours and your brothers: ID, passport, birth certificate, everything you have. After that I would send by mail verified documents (by public notary) of you and your brother. I would go to the bank and get a bank confirmation that both of you are owners of your accounts and the bank. Signed and stamped in the bank and send by mail also.
I would take a photo of you and your brother and maybe even with documents in your hands. I would also take a screenshot of balance in some sportsbooks where you have most of the money.

If they in Moneybookers would still ignore you, than I think that there is only 2 possible cases.
1) They have objective rasons why they closed your account
or
2) Someone in Moneybookers just doesn't like you.
Than I don't know what to tdo, contact FSA, get an lawyer..

sup barba got a headache thinking about it so trying to chill out about this mess. im going to send in a complaint form to FOS next week and call them. We'll most likely have to do that send in all the id and stuff after. So far all he sent in a certified drivers liscence id and bank statement..i sent in my certified passport id and a bank statement. moneybookers dont seem to care to deal with this as the workers dont even know why its closed. i just assume the accounts are flagged because we both have the same birthday so ill send all the stuff to FOS. a warning to people if your a twin dont join moneybookers!

A book limiting withdrawal options on the basis of another's vetting is very very bad. Borderline criminal.

Books already release personal information to other shady books (Jazette and DSI share information for example). This type of nonsense needs to stop.

i will send out prints of the emails from moneybookers saying i cant dispute this and 5dimes saying i cant get the money which is proof i stood to lose 7900 in 1 bookie alone. After FOS look into it and if its found that they closed my account for having the same bday as my bro i expect to get ciompensation for this. Possibly a equivelant of all my accounts linked with moneybookers balances and more and for breaches of my privacy.

call moneybookers send all documents certified or signed by a notary, if there twins, then o.k., moneybookers will understand the mistake.
books will not play you (no one) until you fix the issue with moneybookers, its possible that moneybokers alert to others sportsbook about a fraud alarm in your aacount.

As I posted earlier, together with a confirmation email from Neteller that my account was closed was enough for the bookies to pay me via Moneybookers. And others have reported similar stories.

There really is no need to bog the bookies down with the full story about being a twin etc. which I suspect may have confused the issue for them.

In my case it was Neteller which I closed and Moneybookers which I retained.
But as I've said it was as simple as telling the books that I no longer had a Neteller account so couldn't withdraw to there.

that may be the cause of all this. i sent in my passport id certified by the bank manager a month ago..but it had no mention of that in the email..so it may all be because of a simple thing like that and nothing to do with my twin which i was certain was the reason..why didnt they just email me telling me that a bank manager wasnt ok and i wouldnt have had to have emailed them and call them 20 times. all the bookies im with i get it certified by the bank manager down the road so did that as usual.so hopfully they still let me be able to send in my passport id which ill get verified by the embassy where i got it in the city.
