are you a cop guy? Sorry that people are finally starting to see the police for what they are. Day by day more and more people open their eyes in this country hopefully it won't be too late when enough have. The pigs and politicians have no one to blame but themselves, just as every gangster the police and politicians have gotten greedy with widespread corruption, murder, rape, theft, setups etc. They had a good thing for a long time where they were given the benefit of the doubt now people have seen and experienced it firsthand and are sick of it. There are still many a sheltered dipsticks like you too damn stupid to open your eyes and think for yourself and see reality. Go watch some more Texas ranger you retard and pretend everyone with a badge is Walker. As stated this guy appears to have deserved what he got, and every single cop on the street is not a POS but when you involve yourself in their ranks you are going to have to deal with the label that your co-workers got you by their misdeeds.

Most police officers I have come in contact with are good people. In every industry, you will have corruption. You are stereotyping all police, which makes YOU the ignorant, intolerant one. Nice going.Comment -

Guess its all about your experience I have had several personal experiences as well as second hand experiences through close friends and family. Police have no conscience and no brains and those are the good ones. The bad ones are intentionally corrupt and out to take whatever they can from those they swear to protect. They feel entitled to shit because they "risk their lives." The focking pussies don't even patrol bad neighborhoods out of fear and let crime run rampant there leaving innocents who stay there in the line of fire. They pull the trigger and ask questions later leaving unarmed citizens dead on the concrete. They force themselves on women knowing they won't be reported because of fear that a cop did it and they know they will never get justice. They confiscate drugs and weapons and resell them back onto the streets rinse and repeat. They are worse than the guy on the corner selling smack to try to support his family because they have a job and have taken an oath to protect against the very thing they involve themselves in. When you have been charged with felonies that are permnantly on your record because of a detectives "instinct" which was inaccurate or seen your father arrested as a child after committing no crime because of an officers angry pride, or had friends do time for assaulting a police officer where they did not lay a finger on the pig but rather stood their ground when doing nothing wrong other than being a young minority walking down the street at night who the police decided to harrass out of boredom etc. you can come tell me about them being good guys. Until then just because you have been lucky enough not to experience the world many do daily you should not assume the best. You need to know not to trust them and to protect yourself or else you will likely one day see the side of the world I have explained above.Comment -

Yes I do, unfortunately my life has had many similarities to some movies and on top of it I constantly read news from all markets around the nation as part of my handicapping and although many stories don't make national news every market constantly has stories of police committing crimes, putting someone in the dirt or overstepping bounds.Comment -

#78Cops has been getting too easy here in California. Just a few weeks ago, former a 50 year former Cincy Bengals player was killed by two Kern County Sheriffs because he was swinging a bag with beers at them. A bag of beers is not a deadly weapon yet they shot him dead first without even trying to apprehend an un-arm old guy. The use of deadly force is not longer taught as a last resort to these new gen Cowboy cops, it scary because you can get shot for speeding ticket because you accidentally sneezed at them.
Are you kidding? I assure that hitting you in the face and or head with a bag of full beers can either kill you or knock you the F out....Comment -

Sure it is on a community to community basis, large population centers with large departments with less oversight and widespread corruption more bad. Small towns and close nit communities with a 3 man sherriff office probably more good. These are generalizations of course as many small time sherrif's office do become nothing other than a crew of crooks and I am sure large departments have their share of honest guys who want to help. All I know is that police are not saints or angels, they are human beings with greed, sexual deviance, selfishness and happen to be part of an armed gang with a code of silence that commit heinous crimes and miscarriages of justice on a widespread level. I have stood in front of judges before with police commiting straight up perjury and the judge bought it hook line and sinker. They only care about racking up convictions not the lives they affect or human factor. I have seen it time and time again and read about it a million times over. Like I said, if you have not experienced it congratulations and I hope you never do, that does not mean that those who have been on the other side are criminals, ass holes, evil, wrong, scum etc. If people are too narrow minded to realize that those who seek and obtain power often do it for their own personal means or that once it was obtained it can change someone into a scumbag are not living on this place we call Earth. ignorance may be bliss to those people and make their lives a lot more simple and manageable, meanwhile those of us with open eyes are out here speaking out so that someday we may restore the freedom we once had and the slow march of the police state is stopped in its tracks. My problem is not with every individual police officer it is with the "police state" that has become America. These days it seems there are more high level people that should be on the inside and the only ones getting put away are people who smoke a few joints. Hypocrisy runs from the top down, the guys making the laws and enforcing them can't even follow them yet they have no problem lying to get you put away if you are innocent while they go on committing equal or worse crimes.Comment -

#81Do you ever read stories about cops doing something good in the papers? Or are your papers just filled with hate crimes with cops against minorities?
Yes there are bad cops, there always will be. Yes I'm sure some lie in front of judges to cover their own ass, everyone has lied to cover up something.
But to run around saying "fukk cops" and things like that is just plain fukkin ignorant. Don't create problems and you "shouldn't" have anything to worry about. Don't hang out with shady fukkin people in shady fukkin areas where cops patrol just to bust someone for being a certain color or because they look like there up to no good. It's pretty fukkin simple.
To me, cops are good, there are more good cops than bad. Being from Chicago, what would I rather have? A cop busting a drug dealing ring and keeping the money for himself or no cops and drug dealers just doing as they fukkin please? Cops go to question me and I take off running, I obviously did something wrong and deserve to have something bad happen to me...Get shot? no, but should get roughed up.Comment -

#82I have really gone off in this thread so I will make my last comments below and after that God bless.
If you support the way Saddam ran Iraq then you support the police and politicians in America today. If only fear and murder or incarceration for failiure to conform or stay silent is your idea of good policing or governance then you should be pleased where we now stand. On the other hand if you believe in individual freedom, the constitution, and the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness then you have a VERY strong opposition to both democrats and republics as well as all police forces that operate under them. I have no wish to deprive anyone of life, not even those at the top. I think that a violent revolution is about the worst possible thing that could occur. I do however speak out against injustice and the "regime" any chance I can. America is owned by big biz and is run and policed by corrupt frontmen for that big biz. It is all about money and self indulgence and those who will do whatever it takes to get and keep it. Now obviously they do anything they can to try and downplay this intermingling of money, corruption, murder, theft, rape and so on but it right in front of you for anyone open minded and un indoctrinated enough to see it. I am one of those. If you continue to live in fairy land sooner or later they will come for you. Right now it may just be the hispanics and african americans smoking or selling some dope (even though states and corporations profit heavily off alcohol and smokes two of the deadliest drugs on the planet), or the Italians and Irish running numbers (while the government rapes the poor on state lotteries with the worst odds of any game of chance offered to man) or the muslims at their mosques (while many officials have either no faith or are part of secret societys worshipping satan), or the country boys in their militias (while govt send their armed forces out to control every city and state in the country). The fact is the laws they create and prosecute are to eliminate competition and increase profit. Those enforcing them realize this and want their cut and will do what it takes and as a result recive protection when they are "caught". Fear and power are their tools and death and destruction is the result. There willl always be a few good people in politics and people who join the police force with a general interest to help others, but being a part of a fundamentally wrong system they become consumed by the beast in almost all circumstances. As it spreads and you or your children are affected, when it has become too late to speak out, don't say noone ever told you they would make it to your doorstep.Comment -

#86Does it REALLY surprise any of you that a MARINE from TEXAS is sticking up for law enforcement? lol, i would hope not. Nothing against any marine, but if any of you have ever spent any time around these jarheads, you would know that they will stick up for ANY organization/group/patriotic anything that enforces law or has anything to do with being in control, or killing people. Oh im sorry, i meant "protecting" them. Cops are usually around when you don't need them, and nowhere to be found when you do.
Again, nothing against any marines, or any of our troops, but this is a pretty obvious fact. As for the subject of the thread, if the dude had a gun and opened fire, the cops had every right to open fire. But according to local witnesses...this was NOT the case, and i will take the word over the american public before i'll listen to any crock of shit the media, or the police have to say.Comment -

rapists should be dealt with a lifelong loss of freedom if not the death penalty as they have crossed the line as should murderers, except in rare circumstances, yet untold scores walk the streets today.
As for who is going to take care of them? I don't know.... somebody has to but certainly not those who do it so they themselves can be part of a criminal enterprise. So that they can rob, pillage, kill and rape with immunity. It's selling your soul to the devil out of a state of fear when you trade one group of thugs for another. This is why many neighborhoods are all crips, bloods, etc. They let them take over so that they protect the neighborhood but in return can do their dirt. Not much different than the police. If they did not get America in the mindset of "hey trust us we will take care of everything it is too rough out there for you" then as a culture and community we would be able to deal with the serious offenders on our own and see justice prevail by our right to bear arms.
I don't have all the answers gates but I do know when something just ain't right if you know what I am saying and the smell test is far from being passed by those in charge of shit today.Comment -

#92the problem with cops is that when they do kill someone unarmed or shoot at someone unarmed. they don't get punished. they aren't charged with a crime or if they are just get off with paid suspension or some shit. there is no accountability. in my town, there was a trial for some cops that beat the shit out of some guy just drive home from work. they had to move the trial to a different town. the cops only got minimal punishment. there are those cops that killed that vet in his home with his wife and child home. he didn't have a weapon. those cops get away with it. and there was those cops that shot up that car in miami with out any provocation. the problem is that cops don't get punished justly for the crime they commit. there is no deterrent for their actions. that is why people have a problem with cops.Comment -

#93The saddest part about it is that most of the absolute hardore supporters of police and government are those from the South and Texas. They really got them good, I guess they knew their biggest threat was the heartland and indoctrinated them the best. People from a state with a history of freedom seeking and individual freedom/protection as deep as Texas should be ashamed of themselves to support the police and government whether it be republican or democrat. They have sold out every thing they once stood for and it is almost unbearable to watch. Maybe I am just one of the lucky ones whos parents got him early enough on to look at facts and question what your told, I sure remember having some heated discussion as early as elementary school with treachers calling them out on their indoctrination tactics. It may be a lost cause but I will speak out against it for my entire life. Patriotism is not blindly following those in power, it is eliminating any person or groups of people from having too much power. Maybe its just the fact that it is usually minorities why they buy the BS? It may be that way now but like I said these things always reach the doorstep of those whom least expected it when it goes unchecked.Comment -

AS the above post stated bad apples in society get punished bad apples in the department go free and shit even get awards sometimes! It is an ultimate hypocrisy and those who do not realize that are only doing what they want you to do and only seeing what they want you to see. You always only see the tip of the iceberg in corruption too so if a few thousand bad cops get outted a year how many are really in on it? Tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands? what did you want them to do? shoot him again?they're not trained paramedics, they're not surgeons, they're cops. they know CPR and he was definitely still breathing as he was still moving. procedure is you don't touch the guy and you wait for the ambulance to show up and you secure the area from that group of onlookers that could've rioted at any minute.

yeah, you'll listen to the american public that's always innocent and 'didn't do anything wrong' 100% of the time, right? and you personally interviewed these local witnesses right? no.
go watch Bait Car on TruTV for a prime example, they've got video cameras taping 'the american public' stealing cars and then when they're caught a few minutes later blatantly trying to lie and make some up ridiculous BS to get out of the situation
the problems in this country is that no one ever wants to own up for what they do wrong to create a bad result/situation for themselves. that comes from the poorest citizens all the way up through the rich and on to the presidents even. proven time and time again. this isn't about cops versus the public, it's about ignorant people and people who think they're entitled time and again. i.e. this guy in the video, the vast majority of people already in jail, tiger woods, bill clinton. they all f'd up. do something wrong, expect some consequences. plain and simple.

i'm not saying the guy deserved to be drawn and fired on and subsequently killed, but you weren't there, you don't know what else they tried to apprehend him. neither was i and neither do i. i would think the would at least try to sit him down peacefully, but obviously that wasn't working so maybe a tazer would have been best. bottom line, the guy was brandishing a weapon, and obviously not cooperating. sucks he got shot, but smarten the f up and cooperate in the first place and nothing ever has to escalate that far. you think people would realize their best shot is just acting sensibly and not giving the cops any opportunity to even draw a weapon.Comment -
