#37If I go to sleep i need at least 8. But, for me personally I am better on 0 hours of sleep then 3 or 4 hours. I have stayed up many nights cramming/studying for finals and the results are better then going to bed and studying.
Its all about your own personally chemistry make up i guess.Comment -

#38I get 5.5-6.5 usually during weekdays. On weekends I get about the same but I usually add in a 1-2 hour siesta on saturday/sunday if i'm feeling tired from the week.Comment -

#39I think the quality of the sleep is most important. You could do better with 5 hours of good sleep instead of 9-10 of interrupted sleep.Comment -

#41I read this article the other day and found it quite interesting: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...752957910.html
The one thing that really stuck out was:Out of every 100 people who believe they only need five or six hours of sleep a night, only about five people really do, Dr. Buysse says.Comment -

#46this is what the experts say. Not very realistic, especially with what the economy is at these days. Gotta work longer hours to make that paper. I shoot for 8 but get 6-7. Try to make it up on the weekends when I don't work thoughComment -

#55I used to work 2 full time jobs, getting done at 1am in the morning, and have to get back up at 6am. One thing for sure is that eventually your body needs to catch up on rest, I'd sleep during my lunch break, and very late on the weekends.Comment -

#57You can go with 6 hours or so for a week, but then you'll need to just relax and get a 10 Hour sleep day in. At least that's how I work. I've been awake for the NFL/NCAAF/B seasons on the weekends for 7 months, this month is finally a time to catch up on the sleep. Then we got NHL and NBA playoffs starting soon until July. Sleep weekends for august then start the whole process over!Comment -
