Gotta admit...when the Crime Scene Technician was holding up the evidence bags and the camera went close on the Iced Tea can from Trayvon and all you saw was "WATERMELON" I laughed for a good three minutes and had to pause the TV. Is that profiling?
Trayvon, my dude, why couldn't you have gotten a Red Bull that night...why did it have to be a watermelon drank.

Kermit - I have pics of guns and assault rifles on my computer. Hell, I have them in my house and cars. WTF does that have to do with anything? If he would have had a gun that night, he'd probably be still living.
Are you against guns?

Good point brought up today in the hearing....the 'girlfriend' testimony. The timing that police had originally said no evidence for arrest because Zimmerman's account was solid until.....the girl was forced basically to do an interview by the family attorney and that is the backbone of them arresting him later. Unreal....she even states she doesnt care about this...she said 'the Crump interview ain't means nuttin to me' and about how Trayvon's momma talked her into it. She was in a closet to do the interview and list goes on and on. Jury has to be eating this up...the prosecutions witnesses have all either lied and admitted so as in the case of the girlfriend...the other black witness was revealed to have liked Trayvon stuff on FB, the old cat lady said Zimmerman shot trayvon in the back three times, the other witness guessed who was on top based on a pic of Trayvon she saw later and it was one from when he was 11 years old...before then she didn't know.
Guys the stats has not met the burden even close. Reasonable doubt is all it takes...been done so tenfold.
Zimmerman...or as Trayvon called him "creepy ass cracker"...walks. The parents have been exposed as frauds....add another to the Al Sharpton file.

Are you a 17 year old kid? You have any video footage that you recorded of your friends attacking innocent people?
Of course I am not against guns, I own quite a few. I am against people who are not legally allowed to have them though.

Hey listen I think they should give Zimmerman a medal and an apology, but he is in a world of shit in this case. He followed that kid too long, should have just let him wander off into the night. Over 400 911 calls from that neighborhood in a year, he was frustrated I get it. Following him WAS A BAD IDEA.

Are you telling me that you don't have pics of a gun(s) on your computer or phone that you may have looked at purchasing?

Zimmerman's life is fukked from now on whether he's found guilty or not. Sad for both parties but Zimmerman only has himself to blame. Lesson learned... You don't follow people around, especially suspicious people. Call the police and let them handle it. Stay in your car or your house. If the suspicious person tries to enter your house then it is much easier to shoot him and get away with it.
I have no sympathy for Zimmerman following and getting out of his truck. That's just stupid. He was lucky, he could have very well been shot himself if he had confronted the right person. You don't approach anyone in the rain at night. Stupid.

And you own a gun? Did you research your gun? Did you look into where to buy one? That seems kinda weird to me but oh well.
I just don't understand why many people think someone is a criminal because they own a gun or have pics of guns??? If this kid had a gun he might have had a better chance.

That is what I am saying. Why did that kid have pics of himself holding handguns(which I can only imagine were illegal)
We have 4 gun shops right around here. I look up guns online from time to time, but I am not some crazed gun nut who saves pictures of them on my hard drive.

Huh??? Why not? Have you heard of Junior Shooters? It is perfectly legal to buy a gun as a gift for your child. I rather teach my own child how to use a gun instead of his friends or some idiot. I rather teach him how to protect himself instead of him being gunned down at night in the rain. Do you know how many kids are getting killed every week? I'm on vacation in Orlando and a 17 year old kid just got shot and killed walking to work. Law abiding kid minding his own business and some fool is out there shooting people (random shooter the past few days now).

Mac, you're really grabbing at straws here.
It is painfully obvious that Trayvon wasn't a typical high school student. He was repeatedly suspended and missed over 50 days of school and his own mom threw him out of the house because he was out of control, which is why he was staying with his father's girlfriend. I highly doubt that he was a card carrying member of the Junior Shooters.
I don't care so much about the marijuana pics on his phone(even though that isn't something that a typical teen takes, let alone saves on his/her SD card) But he had a bunch of other things that really make you question this kid's integrity.

Kermit it's called deflecting....thats all the Martin defenders have at this point. Is it a tragedy that Trayvon is dead, sure....did Zimmerman murder him execution style out of racial reasons and should be sent to prison for life? not...not in any reasonable person's mind.
Laughed at the Martin family attorney a few minutes ago when asked about their start witness lying under oath and to them on other occasions even when they held the famous press conference to get this thing started......she simply said "ok so she/s not honest, she lies...does that really matter, she's just a nervous 19 year old" If that doesn't cement this in stone nothing will.

Still doesn't change the fact Zimmy walks on a second degree murder charge.
Then Zimmy makes a gazillion dollars in book deals and TV appearances.
Then the NAACP, Rev Al types, etc. start raising money for Martin's family wrongful death civil law suit...
You think it's ugly now, just wait.
You are going to have innocent whites getting jumped in the streets by minorities screaming "this one is for Treyvon"
You are going to have the "no justice, no peace" rallys in Florida.....
Nobody wins.

Kermit... What does his HS attendance have to do with this case? What does him being out of control, getting thrown out of his moms house (I don't know any of the details about any of that, sounds like a lot of hearsay). What does his integrity have to do with this case? I could care less if he wasn't a choir boy. What does any of that have to do with this case? He could have been the schools bully, could have robbed a bank a few years ago. None of that is relevant to this case. Zimmerman had no idea who this kid was. He would have no way of knowing Martin was a bully, robbed a bank, got kicked out of school, got kicked out of his momma's house, etc., etc.
Bottom line, he was not committing a crime, he went to the store to buy something to drink for himself and skittles for a friend. Hell, I would agree with you if he just robbed the store or was about to rob Zimmerman. That was not the case. He was not in the commission of a crime. He was walking back from the store, minding his own business when Zimmerman followed, got out of his truck with a gun and approached him. What happened after that is anyone's guess but why does any of that matter?
You tell me how things would have been different if Zimmerman followed you, got out of his truck with a gun and approached you? What would you do? Run, fight, beg for your life? Who the hell knows but I don't think you can say that any of your reactions would be wrong. The only actions that are clearly wrong is Zimmerman following Martin (not at a safe distance), getting out of his truck and confronting him. Those 3 actions are all against the rules of the watchman training that Zimmerman took.
What straws am I grasping? I have no dog in the fight. Several SBR posters obviously have an agenda. I don't care what color either of them are. I really don't give a shit what happens. I happen to be outside of Sanford on vacation and they're showing the trial 24/7. Martin is already dead, nothing will bring him back. Zimmerman is fukked no matter what happens, he forever altered his own life. The bottom line for me is that citizens cannot be judge and jury, vigilante's going after people they think look suspicious. That is ridiculous. Imagine if I had my gun and I went around the neighborhood following and confronting people late at night? That shit is crazy. I don't think you honestly believe anyone should be doing that stupid shit, do you???

If you're going to dismiss Trayvon's social life activities and public school behaviors like they don't matter, then that is your choice. I feel that these things are actually quite important in trying to decide if this kid had it in him to violently attack someone or not. Now maybe the courts don't think this is important, but I think that anything that shows someone's character and behavior is crucial.
If I seen a tall black person wearing a hoody walking through my neighborhood(A neighborhood that has a history of black males breaking into homes and cars) in the rain and I didn't recognize them, I would be suspicious too. I would have a hard time believing anyone out there that claimed that they felt different.

When I was a kid growing up, we had a neighborhood watch group that patrolled the neighborhood on foot and they often confronted teens in the area who were sometimes up to no good and at other times just hanging out late at night, and when we were questioned about what we were doing, we would explain our situation and that was the end of it. Sometimes we would purposely run just for fun and sometimes the cops got called, but no one ever fought or attacked the adults on the patrol.
