Late info like this tends to go bad, but I guess it depends on the reasons. Are they market related?

Sometimes we wait to gather more information, and any adverse line movement becomes the cost of that info. Almost the exact opposite of betting the early with the opener.

Sharp forecast has Arizona St. winning by 9. My public gauge has them winning by only 2 points.

I see money on Arizona State and have also seen at least on market attempt to drive money to Zona St. I don't think waiting until game time will hurt the Washington line tonight, it may actually be the best line right at close.

We still have time, but even though we've seen money come in on Zona State, I know some groups are seeking Washington.

I'm surprised it's traded at +1.5 and am wondering why books are hanging that number. Unless the books have been holding out on the line move and letting it pop to Zona St. by game time, I think this line stays closer to a pick 'em.

Curiously, if you are in Vegas, what type of info other than it's the play to make tonight did you get?

I'm looking at Washington myself tonight, but I am waiting a little longer for a little more info to come in as I think I see the market resolution for tonight....

The OP in the thread talks of late information to take Washington. I have been looking at this game today and expected late information to come from other areas of the market regarding this game.

Some of that information has come a bit early and given market analysts plenty of time to get down. This makes me nervous. It makes me think this early information is going to go sour as we still haven't seen all the give and take of the day...we know how things can be misleading. I am intentionally not mentioning these metrics, for now...lol.

Anyway, there may be a play on Washington but I'm not so sure the line will bet better than a pick em. The books may still have a movement left here and analysts may be flocking to Washington soon.

While writing this I realized I was predicting market moving money and wanted to get in at a pick 'em before the move.

Now I see -1 all over the place and I'm sure we will see some Washington -1.5 anytime now.

The market info I sought was different than the late information that did come in regarding this game.

Markelle Fultz for Washington, the PAC 12's leading scorer, was a game time decision. He's now playing. I suspect this is the late information and only slightly fits the market narrative I was trying to follow.

It does fit with my bet though.
