Been playing at bovada but slow payouts

Wrote them back explaining that it is the 19th business day, and in fact one calendar month from the day I requested my funds. Also asked them to define "shortly". and the battle continues......

golfanatick... I requested mine on April 4th, so I would say you have a bit longer than me to wait. In the meantime, sorry to say, you will get a series of bs excuses everytime you inquire.

I've had the exact same experience as you, down to the April 4th request date even. All I get are garbage excuses from them.

"Business" day 25...just got this yesterday:

I wish I had good news at this time; however, we're still waiting for the final stages of your payout in the amount of $1400 with Reference Number ********* to be completed.
Although, I feel you may feel that we are not doing enough for your wait time with regard to your payout, I want to assure you that if there were more information about your payout at this time, I would certainly tell you.

I can assure you that you will indeed get your money; however, I'm not able to guarantee a date. With these situations, I know the stress it causes and the anxiousness you may be feeling. I certainly do not like waiting for my expected funds! When I'm in the Casino, I cannot get to the cash out teller fast enough, let alone wait for my payout to be received by courier.

I thank you again for your continued patience, I want you to know that I review your account every day hoping for a change, and if I see anything before you do I'll notify you right away.

Has anyone been paid?? Any feedback?? I just signed up for this site because I get more info from you all than
Bovada customer service. My first payout was approved 4/14, second payout approved 4/17 - no word, no tracking same crap everytime I call customer service. I just can't get a straight answer

Well a few guys said that they got tracking #'s, but haven't heard back if they actually received the checks or if they're even good. I requested mine on April 9th and haven't received anything yet, well past the 15 business days they first stated and Socorro01 has been waiting since April 1st I believe. Some people stated that they have been paid recently, so hopefully that's actual posts and not some BS bovada CS are putting up on here.

Just talked to "Ray" at Bovada......he says they will have a "tracking number" for me within 48 hours...business day 26 and counting.

Got my tracking # Wednesday...Package still not here but I'm guessing DHL transfers to the Post Office for final delivery in my area...crossing my fingers.

It's here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I must say that towards the end (and after a supervisor (Chloe) got involved, the process went good. I was apprehensive even after getting a tracking number, but DHL found me and the check's in the bank.

I just read on another forum that Bovada CS told a player with a pending payout from 4/14 (approval date) probably won't see a check until mid June.

Ok, I've read this post from the ground up because I'm investigating what "the best" poker site is to play right now in the USA. Despite all the negative feedback from Bovada I'm hearing, they do sound legitimate. It just takes forever getting your money (sounds like it'd be safe to say 40 days). So basically if your okay with waiting that long its safe to play. Other sites might not make you wait that long... but are these "other sites" catering to USA players? This 3rd party company that Bovada is using seems like its the main cause for the waiting period (But I'm guessing that 3rd party is what ALSO allows USA players to play, (just a guess)).

This reminds me of when a company uses a dropshipper to ship out the products that they sale. I used to sale shoes on eBay and had them dropshipp'd to my clients from my supplier. Whenever I made a sale i sent payment to my supplier and they provided me w/ tracking number when they shipped off..sometimes a week 1/2 later. So like Bovada, I too was writing those "excuse" emails. "I understand how your upset, but I assure you will get your product, we are waiting for our 3rd party service to provide tracking number" I told them.. After doing it for awhile I realized it was bad business and I quit (however, all of my customers did get their products in the end). Bovada is just doing what I did on a much larger scale and its taking way longer to do it.

All that being said, I think Bovada will be okay if you don't mind the wait. But for us USA players, do we really have another choice??? Is their another poker site available to us that can be better then Bovada?

It was 40 days back when this thread was active. Wait times have decreased in the past couple months.

Other available sites for US players are sites on the Merge network or the Revolution network.

How fast would you say that they've sped up the process, Halstad?

I recently signed up over @Lock Poker but I haven't invested any funds in yet due their CC processing problems... They sent me a very friendly email saying "We are unable to process funds w/ your CC... Lots of our customers use west ern Uni on to add funds... blah blah",, Frankly, I find that a pain in the ass. I'd rather make it instant w/ c.c.

So if Bovada has their act together now I'd like to check them out.
