I just decided to get the final work in late last night and felt like I knew which way the movement was going. GL to us.
some notes on todays games that influenced my bets:
Whichever team was favored in the last 25 games involving Dallas has only covered 4 times. Lines based on public perception seem to be spot on in their games. They are also historically a good bet off a bye. They still have the number 1 pass defense in the NFL which should prove too much for a QB like Flacco. I loved the match up of DWare & the Baltimore Oline.
Atl wins at home. Smith is 30-13 as a fave. It was also about the ineptness of the raiders especially on the road where this year they have been beaten 21-3, 35-13, & 37-6. They have lost SU & AS their last 8 games out of the bye. I still hate big spreads though in the NFL.
Detroit's Dline with Suh should have a field day vs Vick. Plus, I was taking anything over a fg as other than Philly's blowout loss to AZ all of their other games were decided by 2 points and 1 point.
Clev outgained Cin when they played in week 2. The Bengals have only covered 3 of 16 as a fave and in this series the fave has only covered 1 of 10. They play close games. Cincy is perceived to be as good as they were last year but they're not.
Miami has the number 1 rushing defense in the NFL and are tied for 3rd in interceptions which puts pressure on Bradford to make the plays. St L's 2 losses were on the road.Comment -

the only one I am against you on is Raiders +10, and that is kind of by the reasoning that you stated not liking big NFL lines. I also think they get a few things fixed coming out of the bye.

I think I got lucky with my local book. We live in Arkansas and he is honoring the play. Makes sense though. He would have a freakin' mutiny if he called it a no play with how they have been playing. SOOOO many people played them that I think he knows how much he would lose in futures if he didn't. honor it.Comment -

NCAAF total YTD: 163-146 for +21.4 units
separately NCAAF Bowl games are: 13-4-1 +10.4
the best part is the bowls are on a 11-1-1 run gaining +13 units
NFL YTD: 154-131 +25.6 units
football total YTD: 317-277-16 for +47 units
the past week and a half run is 30-10-2 for +33.5 units which is nice since the end is near

I'm happy to report I made up yesterday's loss with winning 100% today. So I can have a healthy bankroll to follow seer next Saturday. I bet 5 units under first half MIA/STL, 5 units DET spread, 10 units ML ATL (sweatfest), 5 units NYG ML (I believe in Eli, especially on the road). Wish I had bet more on NYG - I stared at second half ML for that game which was +230 but I didn't pull the trigger. My motto: lose big, win small.Comment -
