Sad that it is the rich fukking the poor and middle class harder than anyone, but the finger is still pointed, by some, at the poor.

#37GOP has no problem with spending 500 billion annually on military spending with an addition 200-300 billion in supplemental war spending. I watch a ton of discovery investigation shows and when ever you see a cop around 48-50 years old it always says RET. after their name. Not one of you fuks ever bitches about the fact your paying all these losers 90% of their salary for the next 35 years but will bitch about a program that makes up .50% of the annual budget and will cry like it's the end of the world if someone takes their $35.69 weekly food stamp check and buys a candy bar.
I like to see any of you try living on $4.50 a day in food stamps.Comment -

#39the dirty little secret (not much of a secret these days) is that left wing politicians see handouts as job security. the more people receiving govt aid = more votes for the 'hander outers' = Dem Party
We are very close to 50% of the populist being dependent on handouts - once over 50% there is no looking back - collapse is irreversibleComment -

#43C-gold, need you come back to sbr to talk about politics and Jeremy lins "culture"?
Go back to the political forum, where you belong.
Ps: there's more people on food stamps because of our great president W, ruined us here in the states and made us look like idiots across our borders..Comment -

#44By enabling the weak, we're going against nature. Only the strongest should pass on their genes, that is what would strengthen our species. But we're doing the exact opposite. We need to get back to a "only the strong survive" type of culture, especially in America. If you can't hack it, then I guess it's time to wrap it up.Comment -

#46Umm yea I understand, it's called Pension. Think about every mail carrier, township clerk, CFO, administrator, tax collector, public works employee who get the same nonsense. It spreads well beyond the Police who actually put something worthwhile up.Comment -

#48Interesting mindset we have depending on our 'politics'
Liberal's see taxed income as belonging to Government , it was the govt's to begin with therefore reducing one's taxes is a handout to the individual or Corp. Liberals equate a govt handout (food stamps for example) to reducing the tax burden on the ones whom earned the money.Comment -

I'm a sucker. Believed Obama that he was about change. His 'stimulus' is nothing more than borrow, give to the lazy and ask the businesses(which he calls the rich) of the country to pay the bill.
He is sort of a Jimmy Carter without the good heart part.
Hate to break it to u Tex but a big chunk of the stimulus went to those tax breaks Bush Jr handed out after starting a couple of wars. Imagine that handing out tax cuts during war time. Maybe u should find out where the money went when before u make an ignorant comment like that.Comment -

The real job creators are the people who spend money and force people to hire. Beggars shouldn't be choosers. There are people who CAN and DO take care of themselves. Let's call them adults. Then there are people we CAN NOT take care of themselves. Let's call them children. If the Children are living off of the hard work of the adults, I don't see why the adults don't get a say in what the children eat. You want to buy Soda and Doritos... fine, then get a job.
If you don't like somebody else telling you what you can and can not eat, then get the F off the couch and get a job and become an adult.Comment -

If it's so impossibly hard to live on $133 dollars per month in free food stamps, then how come come 46.3 million Americans manage to do it?
They aren't JUST getting 133 dollars per month in free food stamps. They also get FREE HOUSING, most working people's #1 expense. They also get FREE MEDICAL CARE which is another pricy expense for people who have to pay for it. FREE welfare, FREE heating.
That's why you see people rocking i-phones paying with food stamps.Comment -

28-30 million Americans were on food stamps when Bush left office but that number has exploded upward under Obama. Up 50%. We now have 46.3 million Americans on food stamps. It's shameful. That's why Gingrich called Obama the food stamp president.
How many of those people really can work but choose not to?Comment -

The 46.3 million on food stamps were just born with no opportunities? I guess they have no arms, no legs, no brains, are physically unable to provide for themselves and weren't born into the greatest country in the world? The rest of the working population are just hedge fund babies that didn't play by the rules?
I'm against food stamp welfare all together but if you are going to keep the program at least put heavy restrictions on how long you can live on food stamps, income levels and what you can buy.
To see people with a $100 dollar per month i-phone bill getting $133 in food stamps is pathetic.Comment -

#68Anyone worried about the ten billion in subsidies we give these gougers called oil companies to supply us expensive gas while they make record profits? Only in this country are people worried about poor people while rotten suckers like the oil companies rake us for billions. Imagine making record profits with a licenses to gough us and still get handouts from the gov't in the tune of billions. Both welfare and oil company subsides suck but ya never hear about the oil companies cause it is easier to jump on the poor.
In the average gallon of gas sold in the US, Exxon averages 2 cents of profit per gallon, while the government gets an average of 48 cents per gallon.
Who is really taking the public for a ride?
And Exxon will make about 8% margin while Apple makes about 40%. Hope you're piping in from an Apple product, retard.Comment -

And the poor are certainly not as unhappy as the liberals who go on the internet to post on their behalf, either. I guess they've got so many angles to play they don't have time to sit around bemoan how awful life is.
But some of the self-annointed middle-class warriors on this forum, oh well, DIFFERENT STORY. It's time to cry at what others have. It's kind of like high school when someone else was dating the prom queen but now you have a place to voice your frustrations.
P*ssies.Comment -
