I would like to fund this account which was never funded thru SBR and the contest. Are you telling me that since i had this account already which was never funded i can't get in and 5 dimes loses this deposit because of this stipulation? Again i have never funded this account and im sure most people like me sign up at a lot of site to just check out the software and betting lines and decide from there. To me this is insane that this sports book isn't gonna get their first deposit from me because of this rule. Since I can't play in the BTP here are my picks. Atlanta will lose by double digits and Titans will lose by a touchdown. Share the profits guys.

I think I already screwed up mine.

I believe I fit the criteria for the “grandfather clause” (pre-existing Bookmaker account, played Beat the Prick the last two years, made a deposit of more than $100 to it today). I also signed up with—using the link from the contest page—and funded a new account with one of the two contest books at which I’ve never played.

I’m not sure if you can use the grandfather clause for this year’s Beat the Prick, and then “bank” new account contest credits for future contests, but just in case, I registered both accounts.

So I should have either a waiver for this year and four credits for the future, or just four credits. Instead it gave me eight. Apparently whatever I did constituted telling the system my bookmaker account is new, and it believed me pending verification.

So hopefully I won’t get booted for trying to scam an extra four contest credits.

How long does it take to get your new account and deposit verified? I opened and funded a new account at DSI on Sunday, but under the "My Account" section of the contests page it still says pending.

Just want to make sure I'm good to go for BTP.

As per the first post in this thread:

• SBR will attempt to verify all new contest registrations with the sponsoring books each week. Assuming that players have provided accurate information during the signup process, then they are good to go and no further confirmation will be necessary from SBR. Should any of the provided information be unverifiable with the sponsoring sportsbook(s), or, if the player has not yet funded the new account, SBR will attempt to contact the registrant to correct any errors or misinformation.

• Once each week’s verifications are complete, SBR will instruct the sponsoring books to credit the additional bonuses listed on SBRcontests.com to the players’ accounts, as appropriate. Realize that this process can take as long as a week or more, depending on the registration date, the response time from the sponsor books, etc.

Not sure I understand which other game you are referring too.

MNF is available ONLY to The Prick. All other games on the board prior to MNF and not selected by The Prick are available to contestants.
