Baseball America does a pre-season and mid-season prospect list. Heyward and Stasberg were on top of the 2010 pre-season list. Brown was #1 on the 2010 mid-season list (Stasberg and Heyward were in the majors by mid-season)

We understand, the phills lineup is not very good right now...no need to beat a dead horse. Their pitching is good enough to keep them in it though, as they remain in first place with the best record in the league. We will see if these same lack of scoring discussions are still going on in a month or two once comfortable and healthy again...until then, everyone understands that right now this lineup is full of triple A players and we shouldnt expect anything more from them.

the jays have more injuries then any team in baseball and AAA lineup (way worse then the phillies lineup) and the phillies have 4 more wins with the best rotation any team has ever had so enough with the AAA lineup talk

the best rotation in baseball does absolutely nothing for you if you cant score.. again, everyone agrees, the offense is terrible right now. But luckily the pitching is good enough to keep them in it right now. stop beating a dead horse.. and go ahead and bring this up again in a few months and see how that works for you.

Jays have players as good as utley and victorino along with their #1 prospect out right now? having 100 injuries really doesnt compare unless they are all star caliber players

victorino has missed like a week?

snider (out) will be just as good as brown or close
jays #1 prospect is tearing up AAA he will be up soon
bautista missed 20% of the season so far (2011 mvp)
cecil 15 game winner (rookie last year) out as well
lind was leading the league in rbi's when he got hurt

they have jo jo reyes who hasn't won since 2008 as the #4 starter

You are talking like the phills are in last place... they are in first in case you are forgetting

this slump you are talking about is this past week.. so yes, you are right, victorino has been out during this stretch.

you are always saying how beat up the phils are

you see the guys in the phills lineup right now? they might have gotten cut by my hs team... valdez sardina gload orr fransisco martinez... cliff lee had to pinch hit in the 4th inning tonight bc we had no bench lol its honestly pathetic

well the braves won 4 in a row goin into lastnights game but kimbrel blew another save thats 4 blown saves already then braves took the lead in the 11th and lost in the bottom of the 11th

no, they all got shipped out for oswalt and halladay... martinez was i guess the next best and hes a bum.. vance worley will be good, but his pitching obviously isnt what we need right now... for this team to work, there cant be injuries.. i guess thats the gamble they took by bringing these guys in..

dont bust fans when their teams are down and beat up (esp when still in first place)... do it when called for.. if in the next month or two they blow first and continue to not score runs... then by all means... but for now, dom brown has crushed four balls tonight, utley is back, lidge and contaras arent far off, and victorino will be back soon... should sail over 100 wins..
