Ok I have about 1200$ and I am leaving my house because my wife is cheating on me. I am so ashamed and embarrassed about this that I have turned to strangers on a forum rather than turn to real life friends out of shame. I have read this forum for months and don't post here much but I hope someone can offer me some kind of advice here.

I am going to Reno. I will pack up some necessities and just go. I have not made any room reservations because I want to perhaps sleep in my SUV and save as much money as possible.

What is a good way to make some money in Reno gambling? Sure methods of earning little bits of cash here and there to pay for food/rooms, whatever. Any input would be much appreciated.

ANy really absurdly cheap hotels? Like less than 30 dollars a night? I want to use my bankroll to make money. I am considering using a martingale system to make a little bit of money on a daily basis while I figure things out.

And please keep in mind I am not restricted to Reno. If anyone knows of one of those degen cities where I can gamble and live for insanely cheap, I am all ears. How old are you? Do you have any assets that are not liquid? Do you own your house? Did you have a joint bank account or plastic? Do you have any family that you can stay with for the time being? What is your education, and do you have any valuable skills?

The last thing in the world that you want to do is go lose the rest of your money when you are probably already upset by the betrayal of your wife. What you need to do is look for a job, and get your mind off the whole situation. Work out, go out with friends, whatever you need to do.
