i say start the blinds at 50 100 and just let it progress naturally.

if you leave it starting at like 10 20 or whatever it is, people are just going to keep trying to wait it out and fold until enough people get out. instead of actually playing. its going to be a really long, really boring tournament.

I think just the opposite. A long boring tourney is better because real poker is actually played. Not like these all in fests some of these tourneys have turned into because the blinds got too high too fast.

Definitely agree with Bob. I don't mind the speed of these tourneys so long as they are basically satellites, but when some real money is on the line, speeding them up even more just makes the game a crapshoot. Starting with 20 big blinds facilitates a lot of luck-based all-in poker. And after 7 or 14 minutes... pot odds would have you going all-in like every 6th hand.

Just my input but id like to see slower moving blinds after it hits 150/300 so its more "poker" and less "shove fest"

I played in today's 4:00 tournament.....is the 10:00 open for everyone? I registered and it let me in. Don't want to break the rules. Is this OK?

Thanks for the feedback guys. Tomorrow's championship event will start you off with more chips, and the blinds will be a minute longer than what you're currently playing with.

Damn, finished in 2nd place. Came down to an all in pocket pair vs. 2 over cards coin flip with pretty much even chip stacks. Lost to the biggest serial point stiff on the forum to make it worse.

no - there is a bug they can't fix this week that lets you get in twice-- but it's against the rules to play twice in same day
