It's because I was trying to decide, and I had a lot of stuff going on at the moment.

Donald was a solid favorite in golf today, but Pinnacle showed only -143 for 18 holes so I passed. Too bad. He routed McDowell by a bunch of strokes.

Regarding the tiebreaker:

I think for future months, there should be a minimum picks rule if there isn't already. 35 sound fair?

We don't want to encourage something like going 10-0 and then not picking again.

I don't remember if it was ever mentioned here, because I'm in another pool and that's the rule there (longest streak wins; tiebreaker is winning percentage if both have at least 35 picks).

What I mean is not that you have to make a certain amount of picks, just that you have to if you want to win a possible tiebreaker. In other words, if one person went 10-2 for month with a W10 and someone else had a W10 and went 40-25, the second person would win the tiebreaker.

Because winning the espn prize is an extreme longshot with a W10, while you could give yourself a very good chance to win the points pool.

Please respond saying "Yes, I want a minimum picks number for tiebreaker" or "No, I do not want a minimum picks number for tiebreaker."

Having a minimum pick policy is silly. Does ESPN have a minimum pick policy to win?

If you don't like the tiebreaker, then change it to split pot between the top streaks if tied.

Can you win the ESPN prize by having a W8? I didn't think so. There's a huge difference between a contest between millions and a contest between 20-30 people.

That makes no sense. I didn't say I was "worried" about someone winning with a W8. I don't care what number streak wins. I just was pointing out that 8s and lower have won our pool, which means there is a huge difference between our private pool and the overall ESPN prize.

Yes, there is.

On ESPN, you can never make less than 20-something picks in a month and win anyway. Here, you regularly can win with a W10 or less. That's not a huge difference?

And I'm not forcing anyone to do anything. I was just suggesting it for a tiebreaker. If someone gets a W10 by going 10-0, they'd still beat anyone with a W9 or less. I'm just saying for a tiebreaker, they'd need to make more picks.
