well not for their defense, they suck regardless.

Coming off two games. Both wins that the Pats acted like were winning the Superbowl, now a short week to play a 2-8 Detroit team.

I'll take the better defense at home gettin a TD any fukkin day of the week.

For real though, any team that has given up over 400 yards on defense 4 games in a row should never lay a TD.

Free advice for you degen fukks.

I already played it at 7 and I wouldn't be suprised if Detroit won straight up.

this is not a letdown. it is more of a reaction to how well the patriots have played beating quality teams like pitt and indy. at the same time you have detroit still losing games but covering spreads. the difference here is that the pats have no resistance on defense and cannot stop anyone. they have gotten the turnovers they have needed and have made the plays at times to do the job, but detroit has a good offense and at home on thanksgiving will put up a fight with a team that has been competitive all year and 4-0 ATS at home. i would take the lions at 3.5 or more here, those are the facts. that being said joe square is kicking ass so i will probably lose. good luck!

I played Det +7 for 2-units. I've only had (2) 2-unit plays all year, and I've hit them both.

Really? Going by yardage given up? Pats against the Steelers were in garbage time in the 3rd quarter. Pats THOUGHT they had the Colts in garbage time in the 3rd, so the defense moved to a more 'bend but don't break' philosophy.

No matter what happens in this game, Detroit WILL find a way to blow it at the end. Anyone who has followed the Lions at all knows they suck at closing games out, and there's no reason that will change against 1 of (if not the number 1) highest scoring team in the NFL

Pats will roll but I don't doubt the Lions at home. Not putting much on the Pats. Only NFL play I really like tomorrow is Saints -4.

you don't accidentally ranked 30th in defense in the NFL at 398 yds/gm after 10 games. it doesn't happen. you can use whatever excuse you want, but the numbers do not lie.

the highest scoring offense ever in the NFL would be that 2007 team. which reminds me of this season, but the offense isn't as good as it was then and the defense is worse than it was then.

this current team requires Brady to be perfect every game.

They got 3 turnovers, had 1 penalty and still only beat Indy by a FG.

Keep making excuses, but their defense cost them the Superbowl then and it will again this year. I hope they get home field. got luck not running the ball in New England in January.

?? I never said anything about this being the highest scoring ever.... just checked, and they are the highest scoring this year at 28.9 ppg

I'm not saying this defense is great, but they're not so bad that Shaun Hill will shred them... and yes, those numbers are misleading... if you watched the games against the Bengals, Bills, Steelers, and Colts, you would know that the great majority of their yards came in the 2nd half or in garbage time, when the Pats D switches to a prevent style D. They try to prevent the big play and easy score.

IDK if you've noticed or not, but Belichick doesn't give a rats ass about yards given up... he cares about the final score. And MUCH more often than not, he is on the right side of that

I agree with you but gambling isn't about who wins the game unless you're taking the moneyline. New England is 5-4-1 ATS. I see a backdoor cover by the home team.

There is a bigger chance of Lions having a let down than Patriots have one.

Bad scheduling situation for Patsies, coming off of 2 big games and the Jets coming next. But, it's less than a TD and it's Det.

Brady was moved to questionable which makes him 50/50.

he was playing hurt in the fourth of the indy game, and before that.

I teased it to 14 for Detroit and over 43 as I think he plays hurt

I wouldn't pay too much attention to anyone backing a 2-8 football team only getting a TD against an 8-2 club. The lions don't have their starting QB who helped them cover spreads this season either. The browns are a much better team than the lions are right now. Pats going to roll! I am not a Patriot fan either. I have 300 on -7. GL playing lions. Lions are going to play with no heart tomorrow after losing to the bills and the cowgirls back to back!

I am thinking the lions will cover somehow someway. This line is a little sketchy and DET has the power to come back late and in a hurry
