Whats the best TV show of the last 5 years?

Breaking Bad.

Incredible writing. The season opener for season 2 (with the old guy in the wheelchair hitting the bell), and the episode in season 1 with the bath crashing through the ceiling were better than almost all motion pictures. Walt's decision not to save the girl as she dies in her vomit, his near confession to Jesse in the lab. The whole developing relationship with Gus. Insane writing. Genius.

the wire seasons 1-3 were pretty good. after that, downhill. marlow was no stringer bell or prop joe for that matter. gotta love clay davis though, sheeeeeeeit.

The Wire hands down. I feel as though that show is the most deepest show Ive ever watched. Every scene is deep as fuk even if you cant realize it.

you didnt get it then. The school system season 4 was unreal. And omar in season 4 and 5 is insane! The kids who entered the cast in season 4 killed it. Some of the best kid acting I ever saw.

If you are talking about a show that is NEW within the last 5 years I would say Parks & Recreation. Factory was also excellent although I think it was cancelled after 1 season. American Bodyshop... another hilarious show cancelled after 1 season.

I probably have to go with CALIFORNICATION. if you havent seen that show you should check it out. I was sold after the season 1 episode 1 scene 1 where david duchovony gets a bj from a nun in a church.

Friday Night Lights very good, underrated.
