Won progressive pot on BetOnUSA

At the urging of Bill I am going to keep a running post of my dealings with BetOnUSA. I was unaware of this SBR site and did not realize the issues with them. I had an account from them for about 3 years now. I have not used my account in a while and the other night decided to goof around.

I deposited some money and hit played some horses then messed around in the casino. I then luckily hit a progressive pot for over 100,000.

I was asked to send in a Affidavit, and Photo for a press release before they will release my money. Here is the other catch as of June 12th the most you can withdrawal is 2500 at a time. And you only get one free one a month, any subsequent withdrawals have a surcharge on them.

I contacted support and they said I can do 2 a day but will see penalties.

The casino support has been very active in returning emails etc. The BetOnUsa people did inform me of a slight delay - about 2 weeks for payments.

I tried to send in my picture and affidavit and it was bounced back to me.

Other than the bounced email everything so far has been smooth. I am going to retry to send it now.

I will keep this up to date and report good or bad what I find out.

Good luck man and congrats on your win. These online casinos and books need to wise up and PAY the winners. The companies could easily grow each year if they provided decent customer service and paid people.

Just received an email stating they received my documentation and are awaiting confirmation that everything is good.

In the mean time I put in 2 requests for a withdrawal.

So far so good. So hopefully in 20 some days I'll have all the withdrawal requests in.

Well I did a live support just now to see if the answers changed.

I have been on chat with this person for about 15 minutes and they keep asking me to hold. I was then told that since it is taking a while that a supervisor will email me ASAP (with in 24 hours)

This will be a good barometer to see if sportsbook.com pays you in prompt fashion and doesn't jerk you around with multi mini withdrawals with fees attached.If they do pay you fast it lends credibility to all of us who are owed $$$$ by them where they gave us the excuse that it's not a lack of cash but a lack of a bank processor as to why the slow-no pays are happening.Personally in my opinion it would be a tremendous blunder on their behalf if they don't turn your good fortune into a public relations statement that they are legitimate by telling about your win that you had no problems getting paid fast.

Maybe the bad news would be that they now have 100K less to pay 100 people a thousand bucks each that they are owed.hehe!

Well I was originally told to make 2 requests a day, and continue to do so. However the live support said maybe I should wait.

I have 6 requests in currently but think it's lame that I have to keep doing this. I am eagerly looking forward to the response from support.

It's not the process that bothers me too much because I mean I am having a "good problem". I just want some response that everything looks good, don't see how it wouldn't I did everything they asked. I understand it's only been 5 days since winning but would have expected a reply to my last question by now.

I'll wait a couple days before I check with them again.

Hopefully if things go as they said I should see my first payment in a week or so. I understand that may not happen but I am not passing judgment yet, just informing.

Apparently the matter of who owns BetOnUSA and where it will be in the future is not completely decided. Folks at Jazette have said they bought the business while the German Group that moved their business to Jazette say they are trying to get the label back in their possession. My biggest concern would be that BetOnUSA changes hands yet again.

Yep - and I was online with them for 15-20 minutes Thursday. He kept saying sorry this is taking so long please hold. Finally he said I'm sorry but a supervisor will email you within 24 hours.

Still no email. I'm going to wait another couple days, but the casino has not responded yet. The money is in my account so I'm just making withdrawals - I'm going to touch base with them tomorrow if I don't hear anything. I made 2 more today.

Jackpot, no offense, but it sounds like you are surprised that you haven't heard anything yet.....and I can't for the life of me figure out why? You have read the 140+ page Sportsbook.com thread, right? Customer Service there does nothing but lie and/or avoid correspondence. It doesn't mean you won't eventually be paid, but to expect meaningful correspondence from/with them is a joke.

LOL, no offense taken - no I was just surprised that I had active correspondence for 2 days then they just disappeared.

I decided to do an online chat and finally got someone I at least believe was being honest and very straight forward.

The only problem was they asked me to send my documentation to a different email address (that's the only thing that is concerning me at the moment).

Anyway she at least confirmed and laid everything out, I need to do, apologized that I have to do it that way and she can't speed it up, Came out and said we are averaging about 3 weeks to receive payment (but trying to get that down, same story processors etc). I am now officially in wait mode and will not bother them.

I might wait a week and just see if my documentation is ok.
I have been documenting everything and saving everything.

I guess I was just surprised that I was exchanging emails for 2 days - inquired that what I sent was ok and then nothing.

I don't want that being the "hang up" - which it was for my friend.

Anyway I feel "better " now and am officially just waiting and not bothering them for a couple weeks.

Update on my earlier comments... I spoke to one of the managers with the former BetOnUSA Group today. They gave in and sold everything to Jazette meaning, BetOnUSA is no different than Sportsbook.com.

So I am feeling very good right now.

Now just need to see the checks come in.

If it is a couple weeks longer I'm ok with that and will continue to enjoy their book/casino.

Well popping in here for an update.

I now have 40 pending requests.

I spoke to our good friend Cate Stapleton via chat.

I asked about my July 2 withdrawal - she said she had to forward my request on to the accounts department and I should be emailed in the next 24-48 hours with a status for my withdrawal.

I didn't bother asking about the other 39.

So we shall see if the respond and what it says.

You will probably find that they don't process payouts in any type of order. Looking forward to hearing about the breakthrough payment!
