#5532No, nothing has changed at all. I have been waiting for a withdrawal since July 1st. I have been told everything you did, sent Fedex tracking # for a DHL payment.. THen they were sent hte wrong DHL tracking #'s, which caused them to not be able to deliver the checks to me (figure that logic out)
ANd as of today, they said they (Sportfanatik) sent the payments to the processor on August 1st and DHL still doesn't have the checks.
The most imcompetent business i have ever dealt with in my life.
JJX23,
You should take a look back at all the post since Jan. So many people have been lied to by CS reps. If there so good, why is "the Sportsbook.com delay payments" been one of the longest threads in the history of threads. There rating has been dropping, and has stayed at a D+. I waited over 2months for my first withdrawth. I was told 10 different stories everytime I contacted them via live chat, or phone. I have been told
-they have processor problems
-my check has been shipped, after three weeks, and still nothing arrive 5 weeks after original date
-gave me wrong tracking #
-sent DHL, but gave me a Fedex tracking#
-sent Fedex and gave me a DHL tracking #
-ask me why I'm taking my money out, "your going to play again" that was the best one hahaha
What are the CS reps job? There are here to help, and smooth things with customers when there is a problem. They have to say, and do whatever to make the customers happy. Lying is part of it.
Maybe it's getting better since the begining of the year, since football started. Just make sure you watch yourself after the Superbowl. It could be back to "the good old days" waiting months for a withdrawl. that just my 2 centComment -

#5534It's been 2 weeks since I requested a US check to replace the Lebanon check that was returned. Still nothing so I contacted CS.
"Thank you for contacting us.
Currently the stop on your check is not complete. When the stop is complete your check will be re-sent to you ASAP. We apologize again for the inconvenience and delay.
We are always here to help you. Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any additional questions in relation to this or any other matter.
Kind regards,
"

#5535Same Old Story....
I also was told to give my replacement check somemore time before it is taken care of...however, i get a beautifully printed sportbook.com magazine...go figure? can a company go about business as usual so casually when they have so many customers waiting for payouts?Comment -

#5536Lest this thread should fade into oblivion, I would like to alert the board that Helen Keller, Executive VP of Sportsbook.com Traces is still searching hard to find my 2 checks that were "processed" in mid-May.

#5537I made a withdrawal on 6.30.07 in the amount of $500.00. First received a check on August 1st which like everyone else on here it was from Lebanon which my bank would not accept (Bank of America), they also informed me it was in Lebanese pounds which after fees and such I would end up with about 140.00 dollars if they sent it through a foreign check processor. Where i stand now is that supposedly a stop was placed on the Lebanese check on Aug 17th and a new check would be sent out ASAP (In sb.com terms between now and two months). Everytime I contant customer service they tell me something different.
Is there anything I can do to speed up this process??? Its not so much the money but that I am sick of being lied to by there CS reps.
What can we do to say "hey sportsbook.com F.U.!!!"Comment -

#5539Here is the timeline of my withdraw process from Sportsbook.com
Monday, August 6th: At about 5:30pm I requested a 2200 withdraw to be processed and sent via Fedex. Keep in mind this request probably wasn't received or even looked at until Tuesday morning since it was pretty late Monday when I made the request.
Thursday, August 9th: Received email from Sportsbook.com around 10:30am stating my withdraw had been processed and was being sent via FedEx.
Tuesday, August 14th: Called and confirmed with processor the check was issued and mailed. Also the correct amount was confirmed and the correct address was on the label as well.
If I get the check today or tomorrow I must admit that is a pretty good turn around from what we have been seeing. My last two checks were here around the 12th - 14th day once I requested it. Looks like they are trying to get back into their normal time frame of 7-10 days. I can deal with that. Again will let you guys know when I get the check.
So I requested the check on the 6th of August which was a Monday. Requested it around 5:30pm and had the check in 11 days. Not bad if you ask me, but still room for improvement.Comment -

#5540It certainly is great to know that Sportsbook.com processed and sent your check in 11 days. That just shows and eases some people's minds when playing at Sportsbook.com. I play Poker there and wager on sports. I haven't had any problems yet. Nice to hear!

Just wanted to stop in and let you guys know I received my check on the 17th of August, which was last Friday. I didn't get time to post because I flew out late Friday evening when I got home for vacation. When I got home it was on the front porch by my door. It was from an American bank so it should be ok. Will be dropping it off at the bank Monday morning.

#5546If I may ask, how much did you withdraw. Looks like they are selectively paying people. Could be small players get paid "quickly," and big players who make large number of withdrawals get paid slowly.Comment -

#5548I wouldn't be surprised if sportsbook.com puts back everyones money in their account and hope that players will lose most of it back to them.............and of course for those that request a withdrawl, they will go have to wait months again........this would be a good strategy.Comment -

#5553We are all saved!
Robertow proclaims there are no more slow pays at Sportsbook.com! And they just became a sponsor at TOW?!
The darkest hour is long gone at Sportsbook.com (Jazette Group); slow pay reports dating back to April and May literally vanished as the operator implemented new payment procedures and widened the range of available payment processors.
"We accept we've had our problems; we’ve fixed them," a Sportsbook.com top manager told TheOnlinewire.com at the end of July. "Our management and our staff are all highly motivated for another great season and we're pleased to report everything's now faster."
TheOnlinewire.com has been closely monitoring announced improvements over the past 30 days and we are delighted to report that the operation's management words were truthful.
The payout backlog has been cleared in full by mid August, the operation now offers Neteller as a mean of payment to its international customers and wait time for normal payouts has returned well within industry standards.
Players' complaints have dramatically lowered in the first part of August and are now formally inexistent. TheOnlinewire.com remains available to provide assistance to players and invites existing Sportsbook.com customers to provide their feedbacks.
In light of verified improvements TheOnlinewire.com reassessed the Jazette group family of books' ratings re-instating the pre-crisis rating of 7 for the entire family of brands.
All pre-existing warnings have been waived while we will continue to closely monitor the group's performance over the coming months.

#5562You know we cover 100's of books in one of the most secretive industries imaginable. You may not agree with a few of our ratings and that's all good. Enron was rated A+ by Moodys and SnP before they tanked.
If you notice ALL books get complaints from time to time even the A+ group.Comment -
