It's all in the cookin. I like fried turkey, but my family goes the traditional roasted route. Soak in the brine for a couple hours, turn the bird as it roasts to cook it quicker and it's juicy and delicious. Giblet gravy, mashed potatoes with a turnip for every four potates, yams with carmelized brown sugar, green bean casserole. Fukk. I love it. Been starving myself for two days. Gonna be drunk and stuffed. Hope I can stay awake for all the games on my card.

Still not a traditional turkey fan although I'll eat it with cranberry and stuffing....

Love turkey legs though and leftover turkey sandwiches are awesome with mayo, salt and pepper, cheese if you want on a good roll

Half my family is Italian so they always bring homemade lasagna and other good shit like that

turkey may not be the greatest thing going, but at least it is a huge cut above "chicken". anyone who gets those cooked chickens in the supermarket or tries to cook their own are stooping to the lowest possible form of food choices that are available today. "chicken" is poor people's food or cheap people's food and should not be sold, bought, or raised. chipped beef on toast would be a better choice. spam is rated above it. anything in a can is superior to "chicken".

Turkey is dry yes. Must be accompanied by a good gravy (plenty) and cranberry sauce to balance it out; by itself its as bad as boiled white chicken but without the stank.

You not cooking your bird properly pal. Turkey is amazing and shouldn’t be dry. It does take a long time tho! That part accurate, well worth it!!!

Never been huge prime rib fan myself.. we almost always do something else tho, mainly cause I love having plenty of leftover bird anyways but also cause lot of ppl not huge fans.. last year we did lamb also. One year did some buffalo steaks. This year just going with a ham along w the 23 pound bird!!

If cooked right and the Turkey is moist there is no finer meal then on Thanksgiving.. You got the juicy Turkey, the honey baked Ham, garlic mash, sweet potatoes, stuffing, cooked veggies, salad, cranberry sauce, etc..

I'm pumped for tomorrow night!!!! Gonna get my grub on big time!! ...
