Nothing wrong with giving a leg up to groups who have less opportunity, to get started. But have to agree this just looks like PR gone mad.

How would you feel, really feel? if you get an NFL coaching job because even though you know in your heart you were less qualified than all the other nonblack candidates but because the NFL told the hiring team they 'had' to hire you because of quota.

Quota being the hiring team had no black coaches.

Most of my best friends are black and I can tell you they would jump with joy if offered the opportunity, it doesn't matter how they got the job, just that they got it.

My understanding of this quota is minority tho, not just black? So like Chinese I assume would count? There are many other races out there who should fall under this rule.

Where I live the Chinese don't need any scholastic help, their quota is over filled. They win a huge percentage of scholarship awards. They could use a quota system in the sports department though. Here blacks need no help in that area....they dominate athletics. Certain races are brighter than others and some are more gifted athletes......can I say that?
