It was not JB Bickerstaff's best night. Why the hell would you not play your bench more, especially after a back to back. Rondo had an incredible game the night before and you don't play him at all? Lamar Stevens is from Philadelphia and you don't play him???

Jarrett Allen is not good defending his own man. He is great at help defense in the paint but can't stay with his own man. Plus he's really soft. Any strong big man can bully him in the paint. He had 5 rebounds last night. That's fukking ridiculous. The Cavs really need another big strong enough to not get bullied in the paint because him, Mobley and Markannen are all tall but light weight. Jokic, Towns, Gobert, Bam, Vucevic, Ayton, Nurkic all will give Allen problems. Hell, Christian Woods shitted on him a few weeks ago. Allen needs to drink more milk and get in the fukking weight room.

Embiid is a beast no doubt but he's been shut down by great defenders. I remember Horford and Robert Williams of the Celtics playing tough defense on him. They are both very strong and could keep Embiid out of the paint. I think Harden is going to be a huge asset to the 76ers because he's another guy that can get his own shot.

Yeah, I mean Harden should help, but I just wonder if Embiid will adjust. Probably, but we'll see.

Cavs and Bulls are both nice try-hard teams, but Embiid and Giannis and Durant are just such big problems that neither really has a good answer for.

All 3 get superstar calls which is huge in the playoffs too.

Vucevic is much heavier and stronger than Jarret Allen. He can bang with Embiid better than Allen. The Bulls will be okay because you have Derozan and Zach who are superstars and Ball who is right there. The East is going to be a bitch to come out. The top 8 teams really are very similar and any of those teams could beat the other teams. Total coin flip.

imo the rookie Mobley is the main reason for their success. Fantastic player. Like Garnett without the attitude.

Interesting take. I don't agree with it. LaVine is a v.poor iso' player. Great shooter but no court vision and no poise. Makes terrible decisions in the clutch.

It's unfair to assess blame on Allen in guarding embiid. Most bigs have slow eye hand coordination if they have any at all in terms of reaction time to an offensive players moves. Embiid is a premier big and MVP candidate every yr, there is no way Allen has a chance to guard him.

Don't worry Mac, this was a litmus test and I'm sure alot of NBA fans were betting cle in that spot thinking the sixers are depleted after the trade and fatigued. Classic regular snare for books, things would be different if this was a must win or the playoffs for the Cavs. Two of the three refs were big favorites for Philly at home in that spot as well
