#143Don’t worry about it bro, cross that bridge if it comes to that. Surely there all kinds of landscaping places hiring now? I’ve seen them driving all over the place cutting grass today!! I know up here there only about 2-3 of the 100s of them that give 2 shits about actually running a backround check. Tons of small businesses in that kind of work don’t care. Same w concrete, fencing, asphalt, etc.Comment -

#146I’m gonna see if my lawyer can clear it up for me, but can’t go back to NY to see the judge so not sure if he can. All I had to do was 40 hours of community service. I got like 30 done. Skipped court cause I wasn’t done yet, and told myself I’d finish that week and just go back with it done. It turned into me just pushing it off and saying fck it. Was too caught up in my addiction to give a shit and didn’t think I’d even be alive still. Now that I’m getting shit in order, I realize I can’t just run from my past.Comment -

I just feel better knowing that I have a shot to find something. Thought I was doomed and would be screwed until I go back to NY and face the judge. Which I want to do cause the warrant is so pointless to have. If I can just explain my situation I think he would understand, but I know he takes it personal when people don’t show up. Like a slap in the face to him. Seen him come down hard on other people.Comment -

#150once June hits Palm Springs probably tough place to work.
Cuse only a conviction (s) would appear on any background check. I’d try & take care of it though. Maybe contact the court & let them know you’re not in area but want to resolve.Comment -

#154Man you got so much to learn! You know how slim the odds are they even check if you really did the community service? Pick a church, make a letterhead and write yourself a nice letter about how helpful you were then sign the ministers name! I know this cause my mom has let basically everyone I know do their community service w her and I think once ever did she get a call asking if her letter was legit. I started telling my friends to just fake them when they asked me! I mean not a big deal, moms always hooked them up w 40 hours or whatever for a few hours of work anyways. Point is community service is a easy win! Love when I get it, never actually do it!!

I’d fck that up somehow and just get in more trouble. I was just helping at a rescue mission shop. Sort clothes and shit like that. It wasn’t bad, just hard to do when you’re sick. Judge gave me so much time to do it too. Not sure how I fcked that up.Comment -
