Gruden at best was a .500 coach for his career. He won a Super Bowl with the Bucs, but if we're being honest that was Dungy's team. He had the same Bucs team that Dungy took to the NFC Championship game. Gruden didn't draft those players or build that team. The Bucs fell apart when Gruden put his stamp on the team.Comment -

When these guys get on the sideline, they must lose any smarts they have. Tampa coach actually threw a challenge flag in overtime a few weeks ago. Gruden's clock management in the couple close losses they had earlier in the year was beyond bad, snapping the ball with 15 seconds on the play clock when they were trying to burn the clock. Carr is just a dumb football player, might be the next Scott Mitchell with that contract.

The Raiders are now an NFL-worst 1-8 with an NFL-worst -125 point differential. Their only win was against the Cleveland Browns, by three points, at home, in overtime. They traded their best player in Khalil Mack — a future Hall of Famer in his prime; he had two more sacks on Sunday, by the way — one week before the season began. They released pass-rusher Bruce Irvin — the team leader in sacks this season — last week.
It would be impossible for the Raiders’ team morale to *not* be terrible by now.
