They are stacked with talent at every position. When you have guys like Dybala and Aguero sitting on the bench.......You know the team is DEEP. They can go as far as they choose. I just think they need to solve a lot of issues regarding " The coach's game plan ". I personally agree with the coach wanting to transition this team to a more attacking type of team. The last World Cup they were in an entirely different mindset......Defense was #1 with their former coach. This team just seems to lack the rhythm needed to go deep in this tournament. England have a very young side here , but they are buying into Southgate's free flowing style. Its up tempo , it suits the players very well. Argentina have the deeper side by far if you put the names down on paper , but England look to be a better side imo. We will see......

Yep, stacked, but no comparison to those teams of 1990, 1994, 1998 and 2002 or even 2006, and they couldnt win the cup
When they won the cup in 86 and 78, it was based on a team of hard workers and rough defenders playing for 2-3 stars
If they win the cup somehow, would be fukkin epic. I personally hate Higuain, terrible forward with no cold blood in the most demanding moments. Cant hold Kempes, Caniggia, Batistuta or Crespo's jockstraps.
Loved that Franco Armani is starting now. What do you think?

I dont really know much about Armani ( only get the odd Copa game here ), but i do know that Caballero was quickly becoming a bad idea. A change was needed in goal. No doubt. I dont know that i can make fair comparisons to some of those great teams of 80's and 90's , but i do think this team has as much , or more , talent and depth then 2014's team. I wont underestimate what they are capable of. Next up is France , and they have looked very beatable so far.

Wed June 27 : Mexico vs Spain : 10am
Mexico @ 2.45 ( 3 units )
They could lose this game and end up on the outside of this World Cup with 6 pts. They are the better side , and have the patience to brake Sweden down on the counter. Sweden will have to open up at some point and chase a win

Very solid keeper from River Plate, reminds me of Javier Goycoechea

He was a big game choker when he was with Real Madrid as well.
Aguero should always start over him

I've only placed one bet, thats Brazil making QF.
$1,000 returns me $500
The way I bet is I only place bets where I feel I have an 80 to 90% chance of winning.
Germany has thrown that a bit into the wind though

Troll? Nah, just a friendly warning to Esco. I'll leave you to it. Just find it funny that you are so passive aggressive towards any opinion not in line with your own. And to throw out the "where is your record?" immediately. I commend you for keeping accurate records, but lets not kid ourselves. There are multiple long term threads you have abandoned with less than stellar final results. GL the rest of the way

If I win that one I'll have $1,500 in my piggy bank, and I might make 1 or 2 bets after that, depending on who makes it into the QF's and beyond. Or I might just cash out

Nobody is kidding anybody here. I posted monthly until Jan 29 of this year, that's when I started one thread. ALL of it is here and proven. Tired of your attacks. This is a World Cup thread and once again EXTREMELY accurate.
