Sweep is right! This is absolute bullshit! There's obviously more than 50 pros that wanna go. And others that live close by and don't need the hotel room. If an SBR Pro wants to pay their own way, book a room at the Nugget or elsewhere, and confirms he or she wants to play in poker tourney and participate, why the fuk should they not be allowed too?

It like you're say'in "ok you're an SBR Pro, but not one of "special 50" so fuk you." What's the big fuk'in deal to add a few more poker tables and toss in a few more shrimp trays? Like a real SBR pro is gonna fly out there, be excluded from the meals and hang out on the rail watch'in other Pros play poker.

You guys reimbursed Pros for airfare one year at the Costa Rica bash, which cost way more than this Vegas get together. Is it that much of a hassle to open this up to more than 50 and let all SBR pros who can make it participate?

I think SBR needs to have a better grading scale on who is allowed to go to bashes or other events etc. Not just based on pro status. There are quite a few posters that are genuinely courteous who are pros that are always eager to give you a helping hand with any question you have... and there are some posters that are just a$$holes. The a$$holes shouldn't be allowed to go.

The mods could clearly give insight on this.

i really think sbr will look out here. you were part of their gambling investment fund team, long time poster who contributes to the forum.

i do believe sbr will look out for sweeper and lakerboy also.

all of you guys are well known on this forum and post a lot where there are guys going who have been here for years and dont post often or contribute much here at all are going. I've never seen some of these guys post ever and yet they are invited.

the end of the month is due date for travel and we all know people talk a good game but bail for all different reasons

As in past events come time to confirm with your flights people will bail as usual.
Then there are those that signup and never show. so SBR has to eat the cost for those. As in past events.
When you say your driving and don't have to provide a flight confermation number , we take you for your word that you will attend.
Nothing is free at any of these events, SBR dishes out a shitload of money to make sure those that do attend have a fantastic time.( Food, entertainment, lodging, oh and Booze) Swag isn't free either!

So for those of you on the sidelines waiting to get a confirmation please be patient. Remember good things come to those who wait.

No shows should be banned unless they can provide proof of an emergency that kept them away (serious illness, death in the family, etc) Or SBR could limit them to posting in only Seaweed threads for 6 months. That would be worse than a banning!
