The dire Chinese news doesn't seem to destroying confidence to me. Think it would (will) break way lower if it had.

I think I would be less inclined to be buying if breaks below 750 again personally. If it holds above 800 now i agree 750 was the mark to buy at though.

And these low 800s probably still good if it does hold of course.

The ultimate rebuke to "Davos Man" will come on Friday, the last day of the week-long forum, when Donald Trump is inaugurated as the 45th president of the United States.

And the consensus of a rules-based global order led by Washington is threatened by communist China's inexorable rise.

Looks like the selling is subsiding. The 750 level fills a lot in on the chart. I'd like to see where we hold on the next downturn. I bet we hold above 750 maybe the 770 area. This latest bump up could see a re test of $900 but for now I like $780 to $860 as a trading range.

Chinese and bitcoin was never a problem, too much money was flowing into Chinese exchange sites even though bitcoin price was bit higher compared to the west to my knowledge. Price adjustments were being made and you saw that dip week ago.

How does that work to stabilize the price? Just discourages Chinese from trading as much?

There were no fees to trade in China. The only time a fee was incurred is when you withdrew.

A lot of bot trading and manipulation was going on in China. Now that a fee is added, it's not profitable.
