I see that all of the know-nothings are out in force. You wanna-be gamblers have no idea what the lines will be. You do not even know who will be playing who just yet. Here is a little hint for you wanna-be gamblers. If Philly wins out they win the NFC EAST AT 8-8. Go figure that one. Since over 90% of you are air bettors or simply do not wager at all, just sit tight and keep your mouths shut until you know who is playing who, who is injured, and who is returning from injury. Then you can run your mouths and make fools out of yourselves. Why you guys love to make fools out of yourselves is beyond me. I guess you will do anything to get some attention.
Fading Cam and Carolina in the right spot during the playoffs is going to be glorious

#37The only teams with a shot of beating Carolina are either Arizona or New England so not sure why fading them would be so glorious.Last edited by t-wizzle; 12-21-15, 12:31 PM.Comment -

#43Again, I can easily fade them ATS without necessarily betting the other team on the ML. Carolina's lines will be inflated during the playoffs, especially if they finish 16-0 (as they should).Comment -

#47Do you not like Carolina or something? I don't get it. What's so glorious about them losing?
And what makes you think their line would be inflated? If they were to play Seattle in the divisional round, what would that line be?Comment -

#48Carolina will drop a deuce in the playoffs.
You guys forgot about all the times this Cam Newton clown cried every time he loss... or was losing. His expressions. etc.
Remember the times people questioned his toughness?
It will all come back in the playoffs. He's just a good entertainer. Nothing more.Comment -

I don't think Arizona can come out of the NFC now without him. I think PFF had him rated as the best DB this year. He is probably the last guy Zona could afford to lose on defense.Comment -

#54So many games to wager to earn money on but we wanna look forward to the guessing game of guessing when an undefeated team will see their first loss. Im convinced people here don't bet to win money, just for bragging rights that they were on the right side of some improbable underdog. I actually hope Carolina wins the damn Super Bowl or atleast makes itComment -

#56Starting to think you have a hard on for Cam bro. Dont bet against him right now, he's hot and in his prime. Trust me I've been there before where I just thought a team or player wasnt really anything special and faded them and they continued to bury me, ride this wave of betting utopia with the Cats right now and cash those tickets at the window.Comment -

I always say Rodgers is the best quarterback not named Tom Brady but he's had some postseason failures. That's not all on him but he hasn't always played his best football in January.
One could argue Rodgers has more to prove than Newton.

#62Cam won a national championship. He's only been in the nfl for 5 seasons and the first two years Carolina was trash.

Overrated? What does that even mean? Nobody has ever mentioned him among the top quarterbacks in the league until this year. He's the front runner for MVP and rightfully so. He's been incredible. In complete control of the game.
They made the divisional round last year and as for two years ago, they were playing the 2nd best team in football when they lost to the 49ers. You forget that San Fran lost in the Super Bowl the year before and played in an all time great game when they lost to Seattle?Comment -

Inexplicable record? Who gives a fukk? They had injuries and got hot late so who cares?
I don't care about the 2013 seeding. The 49ers were seeded 5th with a 12-4 record. Seeding means shit. You seriously going to try and deny that San Fran was the second best team in the league? Really??Comment -

Carolina was every bit as good as SF in '13. Maybe better. They completely laid an egg at home vs. Kaepernick and the Niners.Comment -

#67NFL.com had him ranked 11th coming into this year.
Sports Illustrated had him 16th.
I could go on and on and on. Until recently, you would never hear Cam Newton included in the upper echelon.
I don't mind discussing this with you but you can't just go on with your straw man arguments and expect to have a legitimate discussion.Comment -

#69Aren't they 10-4 ATS this year?
Why not back good teams like Carolina and Golden State while they're winning instead of "waiting for a perfect spot to fade them." It seems like you would make more money that way. Most people lose a lot trying to guess when a good team won't cover.
Some years there are those teams that seem to cover most of the time. Examples in MLB the last two seasons included Oakland and St. Louis. They flamed out in the playoffs but you could have made a shit ton backing them in the regular season. Why not ride the gravy train until it runs out?Comment -

#70I can name 10 QBs in the league right now I would take over Cam.....Good year YES.....good QB no....It must be nice playing 5 of 6 games in the division against QBs not in the top 23 in total QBR....How many teams have the panthers beat that have a winning record as of today? I'll answer it for you.....fuking 2....Not only are they in a bad division they lucked out and played maybe the two other worst divisions in football in the AFC SOUTH AND NFC EAST.....You want to crown the Panthers go right ahead and I don't always agree with NOcoin....but he's right on here....Panthers have had a cake walk and Im not buying the shit either....15-0 is impressive don't get me wrong but 2 wins over teams with a winning record?.....lets not shoot our load just yet....Let Seattle get in and come to Carolina?...Carolina won't make it out the second round....Book it....Comment
