What impression do you get when the books offer a total much lower than expected.
For example. The total in Buffalo/Kent St games is always 60-70+. Tonight they play each other & the total is less than 55.....I always bet under, regardless of the public action. Is this a good practice IYO?

Also, I'm watching the Oiler game and they were on the PP down 4-3 in the game, Yakupov got taken down and bet365 was slow in reacting which is super-rare and I got EDM at +390 when they were going to be on a 5 on 3 PP. A 6-3 night for close to $700 in profit.....could have been HUGE, but we lost on our original Memphis bet when the Raps made a crazy run at the end. Should have been 7-2 and up $1100....but shit happens.

That is the last week in a nutshell. A couple of really poor showings, and a couple of decent nights....also onegood day where we lost units because of mistakes with bet-sizing....and frankly, there are a ton of tough beats in that group, and only one or two last minute winners.
Overall I am happy with my volume....I am averaging around $1400 a day or so, and that is way down from last year when I was betting way higher volume and had some weeks that were pretty darn tough.
Sorry again for the lack of write-ups these last few days. As everyone probably knows I have a lot on my plate....and add to that I will be resigning from my current role Friday am to move to a fantastic company.....boy oh boy, I have a TON on my mind.

When I post my picks and I hear 'yes, I had all the same games' or 'I love your card today D2D' I lose....and I mean ALWAYS.
The best days I have are when people come on and say 'I like a couple of your picks, but really don't agree with 'this' or 'that''.
I am am not saying that you should always bet against the public....that isn't the best way to do things either as the public does win....but if you are thinking with an open and unbiased mind and can really look at it from an outsiders point of view, you will get ahead.
Picks will be posted just hefore the games today as I have a conference that is going to take up the bulk of my day.

I will make time....this hobby pays for vacations....so my girl understands and encourages me to take the time to do it correctly. The new role will be busier, but I will be traveling more and when I am on the road I will even have more time than usual.
With a baby on the way and a wedding to plan....that will end up being a time consumer, more than anything. This next year is going to be tough for sure.Comment -
Ok, plays up earlier than expected.
A LOAD of contrarian plays tonight. Philly is an awesome play at +126 on home ice. I know that everyone else is on the Wild, and that's ok. If this moves to anything higher than +130 by game time I will be making it a major play and laying another $200.
