I never made it to the Aria. Ducked into PH again to try the $2-$5 game.
Waited about an hour till I hit my hand, AA again.
This time it was another NO brainor. I'M under the gun and smooth call and there's a raise from seat 6, seat 9 re-raised to $60 & I shoved. They both called.....AsKs & pocket 10's.
Flop was 4d5sJd. The turn came 8s. I'm praying there's no spade & the aces hold up when a 5 of clubs drops on the river.
So, I'm sitting now, with about $585 & look down to see 98d. Someone went from $5 to $20 PF & I called & so did the button.
The flop came 8cAd6d. Original bettor throws $60 into the pot, snap call & the button folds.

The turn is a king of diamonds & he bets $120. I know played this wrong but I only called. When the river came he shoves his remaining $107 into the pot and I had to think for a second or two but I called, rolled over my hand immediately & he tossed his hand into the muck.
I sat for like, 12-15 more hands, flopped a straight, got no callers and left the table with $900.
Stopped at a roulette wheel with 10 odd numbers in a row....bet $25 on black & it came 00.
Put $75 on even & hit #4.
Left PH with a total profit of $750.

Have nearly $2,500 today!

Ha, a bankroll big enough for your next 4 or 5 Vegas trips the way you are running!

I like your story about the 2/5 game and waiting for your hands. I think I need to have more of that mindset on cash tables. I lose too often on them and have just been avoiding them this trip. Going pretty well with the tournies though. Cashed about $900 so far this week, with the weekend and bigger better ones coming up down here.

Geez Jay... I would have found you and caught up by now if I was in Vegas too!

I am in Melbourne at Crown Casino for the Aussie Millions warm up week.

Flew down Monday morning and staying for the full 7 days. VERY VERY keen to satellite into the main event in January.

Well, it wasn't the BJ that beat me. I actually hit a double down on 11 for $60. Left the tables with $1,235.
Then I saw this Glitter Kitten machine.
Couldn't stop dropping hundreds into the fukkin thing. I remember Auto Donk swearing by this machine so, I kept playing. Lost $1,000 in less than 20 mins.
Took the rest of my roll out & was going to teach this machine a lesson but, dumped another $500 in 5 mins.
Then I look to my left and I see the Ron Burgundy machine.
Well, that does it. Thus is how I'm gonna win everything back.

19 mins later I'm down another $1,000.

God Damnit donker. These slots have been the death of my trip.

Heading to the Cleo Patra game with my last $730.

Sorry Jay. Never play those kind of machines unless you are prepared to lose your money. The numbers don't lie. The only way you beat those machines is either a malfunction, cheating or sheer luck.

Just had quick lunch at Milos w my dad and walking next door to pick up our fight tickets.

Jay, it seems like you are probably a winning poker player. However, blackjack (without card counting and definitely at 6-5 odds for a BJ) and slot machines are both losing propositions. Why don't you just restrict yourself to playing poker?

Must have been a bad biorythm day Jay.

I had a disaster day and went backward about $1500 as well. Mine was all poker though. Went bonkers doing rebuys when it was silly. then had to buy into a $550 tourney I had already spent more than that on $65 satelites trying to get in cheap LOL.

No problem though. Today my last day here and planning to make that $1500 back plus more.

Lets get this done buddy. No slots. Just poker gods today!
