I might hit a Wheel of Fortune slot machine at the airport & cancel the flight to Toronto.
The giants cost me $120 last night. They couldn't stay within 11 to pay off the teaser.
Played BJ at the Westgate with a $100 buy in. Was dealt 4-4 vs. dealers 5. I split instead of doubling and received a 3 on the first 4 & doubled for an 8. The second 4 paired so I resplit & got an ace......i doubled for another 3.
The final four was dealt a 7 & when I doubled that she gave me a 7.
So I'm sitting with a 15,18 & 18, with $75 on the table and she rolls over a 6 & at this point, I know I'm cooked.
Than she flips over a 2, then another 2 & finally a queen of diamonds for 25.
That was enough for me & I left the table with $330.
A really nice end to the night.
I woke up today with $943.
Not a huge profit margin but good enough to pay for the really nice rooms & all my food for the week.
Met up with one under & watched NFL opening Sunday at the Superbook in the Westgate.

I'm around. I'm glad you are winning but like I said, the short stopping of reels doesn't effect game play outcome. This is straight rom the manufacturer and the GCB. Just a feature implemented to speed up game play. Those same machines are the ones that bankrupted Watanabe. He also was a big short stopper of reels.Comment -
i agree that most new slick video machines are pre-programmed.... older reel machines, particularly the five reel quick hits, will go borderline malfunction, turning very slowly, acting up to put it mildly, before stopping.... how I hit eight quick hits for $3200+....
you've said it before, and that is the general line of quite a few slot experts.... but give me a "100 Wolves" IGT machine that's been played normal for the hour ahead of time by some schmuck or schmoes, i'll light that baby up for $150 on a $2 spin within the first ten spins.... pretty much gauranteed.... same for "wolf run", lobstermania2, and a few others....

The old school quick hits are on a very old platform that they no longer make replacement parts for. The reason you see the reels acting all janky occur because the reel mechanisms have gone bad but haven't been replaced. They often go into reel tilts but they stay on the floor because they make more than the floor average per day. The old WMS machines are some of the worst offenders for bad reel mechs.Comment -

After hitting a 4 game parlay at Lagasse Stadium Sportsbok in The Palazzo (Browns +9, Rams ML, Packers ML & Cowboys -4) I cashed the ticket and we made our way to Planet Hollywood where I happened upon, what I can only describe as the dream $1-$2 table. Young kids, all with drinks in front of them, about 23-25 years old. And two them were drunk chicks.
None of them seemed to know how to play. Asking, "How much can I bet?"
"Can I just fold?"
There was one kid who at least seemed to know the terms & lingo but still made unnecessary calls on the river and lacked mathematical skills.
The second hand I'm dealt is QQ & there's 4 callers in front of me so, I raise PF to a total of $12 & I scare off NO ONE!
AKQ flops and the girl opens $5, by the time it gets to me....no one's folded and I raise to $20.
NO ONE folds.
Now I start to get worried because the turn is a 10 & any jack beats me. I'm not to worried about pocket Aces or Kings because this crowd isn't smooth calling PF with those two hands.
The girl asks something stupid like, "Do I have to bet anything?"
The dealer says no so she checks but, the drunkest guy at the table, who happens to be sitting between her and I bets $20.
I call & the river reveals a King.
Everybody checks to me and I know that I need to value bet here because I will lose all my action if I don't.....but
Maybe this is the perfect table to just shove & see what happens .
I push my remaining $50, or whatever I had left & I swear to god not a single one of them folded.
The first player showed K-3o
Then the second guy mucked & the girl showed a-2.
A-2....wtf. The drunk guy didn't wanna show and wanted me to show 1st, out of turn so, I showed him the full house & god knows what he mucked...
I didn't care, I just quadrupled up!
I won another $100+ pot with A2s and the last hand I played was a split pot, quad 7.
Checked into final hotel. THE Renansance. Nice but just two beds a bathroom and tv.
