Nice call on Phoenix. I have watched a couple of Oil games lately and it wasn't a play I was willing to risk.

I took a flier for $50 on the Avs in LA....it was LA's first game home after a road-y and Landeskog was back....but it looks like that $50 is destined for the trash....

Relax, pal. I don't believe in jinxes. The Coyotes coasted the last period and a half. They could have lost 4-2 easily in regulation. The Oilers brought the heat and Smith made some spectacular saves to keep them in it. I didn't have a great feeling about the card, hence only 3 single unit bets on the line. Today is a new day.

Only thing I can figure is Carolina has dropped 3 straight and the Isles look to be playing with some fire. However, the Islanders are 2-6 at home this season, 1-3 on weekend home games. The Islanders rank 29th in home attendance ahead of only the Phoenix Coyotes. So it's not exactly an intimidating atmosphere. I've been burned fading the Isles at home. All the numbers I have seen are saying more people are on the Hurricanes, but the line keeps dropping on the Isles. I would say it's Islanders or nothing. For me, the game is a pass.

I wouldnt be as worried, but I took -1.5, I figured they would win easy at home.
I guess they thought they could give Viktor some rest and still beat the Av's, except the Avs havent given them and PPs which they are so famous for.
