D2D I took no offense, pal. No worries. As a U.S. resident I'm basically stuck with BookMaker, 5dimes, Heritage, Bovada. Bovada usually has terrible lines on favorites, but you can pick up value on dogs at times, also late line releases. I tried creating a Heritage account last year and it says my zip code doesn't exist. 5dimes is prob the best on NHL, MLB, and MMA. The truth is, I had $ on my BookMaker account when I started the thread so I used that. I still line shop and use Pinny as the baseline when looking at the lines. I live within 4.5 hours of Vegas though, so I go a lot. Would rather have cash in hand then tied up in some third world shop, hoping to get paid some day in some instances. This thread is more for hobby. I went to Vegas at least 10 times during last football season. I prefer to make my large wagers there.

D2D, no worries guy...I know you're new (cuz your "My first day at SBR" is still on the 1st page in pt)...that's why i thot' i'd hit u with a bit of netiquette to smooth ur way. I've heard that in prison the innocent question "what're you in here for?" is considered offensive and many new prisoners find that out the hard way. So just telling you what i told you, as a fellow cell-mate.

From a pure "prices" perspective, If you are US-res...best you can do, by far, as a main book is 5dimes (as you have already discovered). But if you are non-US, consider adding Matchbook and Pinnacle (if you havn't already done so)...and your ability to "beat" the quoted price will increase even more...especially if you use a price-cmparison hub such as SBR's own

For March: 3-1 on 2u plays +3.94, but down -2.28u overall. Need some of these OT/Shootouts to start going my way. 0-3 -4u on games that have gone to OT/Shootout and my team had a lead in the 3rd period in each loss.

Looking at it right now. Can't say I love too many sides on the short card. Nashville in Regulation to cut down the juice is the only side I will be on. Might play a total or two. Crunching numbers and waiting for all the goalies to be confirmed. The Panthers shouldn't beat the Jets twice in a few days...crazier things have happened.

The Preds game is pretty straight forward. The Oilers are on a brutal road stretch, their 3rd game in 4 days on game 7 of a 9 game road trip where they are 1-3-2.

Anaheim is 9-1 at home this year and they are only -160

. Line is off here and I smell a rat. Huge public team which more people will jump on as a late chase. I'm taking the Flames here. Goal scoring hasn't been the problem for the Calgary Flames as they rank 11th in the league in goals scored averaging 2.9 goals/game. They haven't had solid goaltending, but with Kiprusoff back that will start to change. Kiprusoff made 32 saves in a 4-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks returning from a sprained MCL. The Flames are also the most disciplined team in the league on average penalty minutes/game. They have the 8th best power play in the league while the Ducks have the 28th ranked penalty kill in the league. I look for the Flames to play a smart game here and not give the vaunted Ducks PP unit (ranked 1st in the league) many chances with the man advantage. Also, I have noticed that the Ducks Head Coach Bruce Boudreau has been switching back and forth with Fasth and Hiller avoiding juicy statistical advantages. Hiller is 4-0-0 with a 2.40 GAA at home against the Flames in his career and has won his last 5 home games. However, Fasth who has lost 2 of his last 3 starts and has never faced the Flames is in net tonight. Fasth had previously shutout Colorado and Boudreau chose to start Hiller instead. Hiller gave up the first 2 goals in that game and the Ducks had to rally back to win in OT.

I will take the +140 here as I feel that is where the value lies.
