Looks like it's a lock now. Final 3 all under 27. Took a sprinkle on Merson to win at +450.

a couple of nba props here. keep in mind your funds will be tied up for 6+ months.

5dimes - listed under nba futures

      regular season rebound leader

field +300. this includes kevin love who imo should be worse than +300 himself. also include joachim noah and tyson chandler. bovada has love at +250, so to get +300 for love, noah chandler and others is great value imo.

if you want to play it safe, hedge with dwight howard +150. the wildcard is bynum, but with his knee problems i dont think he poses a real threat.

for reference, bovada has the o/u on these guys as follows

      love 13.5
      howard 12.5
      bynum 11
      noah 10.5

      regular season scoring leader

lebron james +350. obviously the favorite is kevin durant, but lebron can make this interesting. worth a shot at +350.

      finals matchup

lakers vs heat +304. thunder might screw this one up, but i think trading harden for kevin martin hurts them in the long run. this is definitely the matchup that the nba would like.

it's funny that people think harden is better than k-mart

k-mart is the modern day reggie miller. only negs are his age and injury issues.

harden is better than kmart. why else would houston give up 2 first round picks?

and i think the real impact will be on defense.

Harden is better than k mart by a wide margin but with the addition of the rookie ( who had very high potential) & the draft picks, Houston got robbed in this one. No doubt they got a quality player in Harden but not one who is a worth all that. just my opinion.

Not sure why that's funny. Kevin Martin is a better pure shooter, but Harden is a better all-around player. Better passer, rebounder and defender. Also better inside scorer who draws lots of fouls. Martin is a notoriously bad defender.

I agree, except Kmart is the much superior scorer. He's a scoring machine, best 3pt shooter next to ray allen

the number was even higher in the official job report. looking real good.

In the final monthly jobs report before Election Day, the government today said the U.S. unemployment rate for October ticked up to 7.9 percent. The Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the U.S. economy added 171,000 jobs, stating that the number of unemployed Americans was essentially unchanged in October at 12.3 million.

"We still have a long way to go but this is a step in the right direction," said Stephen Bronars, chief economist of Welch Consulting.

Analysts had expected around 125,000 added jobs, according to Bloomberg News.

Intrade has only moved to -200 whereas sportsbooks have moved to -330ish. Not sure what to make of that, there is more capitalization in the intrade market, and one would assume brighter minds.

The Rock is supposedly in it and at 10/1 seems like good value seeing as he's a global megastar with some personality. He'll dominate all the tasks I imagine which will help keep him around and imagine he'll be the one they all look up to as the leader so they usually hang around until the end. David Haye is also in it and he is obviously well known and will also be the manly figure to rival Dwayne Johnson! He could well win it as well and is probably worth a small play at +700. Looks like they've made the two soap stars the favourites in Helen Flanagan and Brooks which makes no sense to me except that some soap stars have won in past (which I guess is why they are favourites). Flanagan is not liked by general public though - she was a shitty actor in the most popular soap in England - Coranation Street - then quit to go on to "bigger things" that of course never materialised! She is now getting desperate for some attention - she's current just a WAG (girlfriend to a pro-soccer player) hence why going on this show. She'll probably have her out all the time which will help keep her in for a while but I cant imagine her winning. My personal favourite bet is Hugo Taylor at 12/1. He's a reality TV star from "Made in CHelsea" but is quite down to earth unlike a lot of the posh snooty Made in Chelsea cast and will appeal to all types of viewers - women will like him cos he's handsome and charming. MAde in CHelsea is one of the most popular shows on TV at moment so he is also very "current". Gonna put a couple squid on him for sure. Then there are a lot of no names half of whom I've never heard of.
