Nothing in college hoops tonight. 165 games being played tomorrow though so I am sure we will have an extended card of winning opportunities. Let me know who you like adn why and I will do my best to get to any questions about any of the marquee Top-25 games.Comment -
For the College basketball season I am now 62-69 ATS for 5* plays, 10-3-1 ATS for 10* plays, and 2-1 ATS for 20* plays. I had winning 5* play on Maryland while losing a 5* play on California in Pac-12 action.
NBA added another 5* Titan winner with the Bulls pulling away from the Celtic in the fourth period and getting the ATS win. For the season the NBA now stands at 32-22 ATS with NBA 5* plays and 5-2 ATS with 10* plays for the season. On pace for a solid season in both sports and March Madness is just around the corner.Comment -

No ghost writer.. I had added Virginia.. as a 10*.. BUT for whatever reason, and I apologize, I left out the Oklahoma State winner. However, I sincerely hope that all of you got down on that one too as that was another huge winner. In the future, and since I am human, still walking on the earth, and not scaring anyone in public (indicative characteristic of a ghost), please ask me questions as well. You always have the option to send me a private message and to my SBR e-mail if there is EVER a question about the plays or the grading.

Rutgers came out smoking, but again Syracuse is so well coached that there was never any panic and they simply grinded their way to the lead. I believe as the season winds down, their will be a great separation of the top five or six teams in the nation fromt he rest of the field. If you look at the polls do any of you have a dark horse that ranks higher than 10th in the poll or RPI that you believe has a solid shot at making the Final Four. I am beginning to think this is going to be a Tournament that will be dominated by the 1 and 2 seeds. Appreciate your thoughts on this as well.Comment -

I definitely agree with your assessment of the field. It is top heavy and the elite teams will doiminate the later rounds. UK, Syracuse, Mich St, UNC, Ohio St, Mizzou, and Kansas are 7 teams that will make up the majority of the elite 8. About the only fringe teams with a good chance off the top of my head are Witchita St and New Mexico and they aren't really flying under the radar either.Comment -

Hey John what do we think about MSU vs the Minnesota tonight? I think MSU covers the 5.5. They crushed purdue at home which I believe is a better team than Minnesota. Do you expect them to roll Minnesota tonight and their D is the key factor late? Im thinking something like MSU up 2 at half and then really pull away in the 2nd half with a double digit winComment
