Nice comeback pick JR. I bet too much of my bankroll on WMU against Detroit...I usually look for angles other don't and it's why I'm a successful capper. However, I can outsmart myself sometimes when it comes to the obvious. Your research helps me a lot when I have capped a game and you filter it through your system. Thanks for the votes of confidence, but let's remember it was just one winning day. We had just ended a 6 game losing streak before winning 6 straight. However, the first two 10* releases of the season both WON.... I have seen this sort of 'volatility' in CBB over the years, but our goal is making a ton by the time the Final Four begins play. ok. Just got done shooting a bowl series video for SBR.. So, here is the 10* play and it is on Milwaukee-Wisconsin plus the points against Wisconsin.
10* graded play on Milwaukee as they take on No. 15 Wisconsin in NCCAA Basketball action set to start at 8:00 PM ET. Wisconsin has had a fairly easy time winning games with the exceptions of their two back-to-back losses at North Carolina and then to Marquette. The Badgers lead the nation in scoring defense allowing just 44 points per game and held a prolific ‘run-and-gun UNLV Rebel team to just 61 points in their last game. Still, this game will not be nearly as easy for the Badgers.
Wisconsin-Milwaukee has two losses to quality opponents as well losing at Michigan State and at Northern Iowa in their last game. Senior guard Kaylon Williams leads the Panthers averaging 12.8 points per game. He has good size at 6-3 and 185 pounds and has explosive first step that will be very hard for Wisconsin to defend even when they play zone.
He also is a great ‘dime’ giver to his teammates and is an excellent ball handler and passer when penetrating in the paint. The oldest play in the book, the pick and roll will be an excellent play for the Panthers to execute in this game. Look for junior forward James Haarsna, who has great size at 6-8 and 230 pounds to have a big game inside and be the ‘pick’ for the pick and roll play.
Wisconsin is not shooting the ball well as a team and have shot under 37% in three of their past four games. That type of shooting is not going to get them a win tonight. Moreover, their start offensive player, senior guard Jordan Taylor, is off to a horrid start shooting just 36% from the floor and 30% from beyond the arc. He is coming off his career worst game making zero shots in 10 attempts and scoring just four points all from the charity stripe.
Last season, Taylor averaged 18.1 points per game and shot 43% from the field and 42% from three point range. I don’t see the slump ending tonight either. Milwaukee is a very quick team and executes excellent defensive rotation when playing zone. This will force Wisconsin to shoot from the perimeter where they have struggled all season.
Milwaukee is a strong rebounding team and this will be key to limiting the Badger’s second chance scoring opportunities. When any team is looking to an upset win, it all starts on the defensive end with strong aggressive rebounding.
The College Basketball Betting Odds
This line opened with Wisconsin installed as 10 point favorite. Not surprising, the betting flows have been on Wisconsin and the line has moved solidly to the 10 ½ point level. I believe that getting 11 points will be doable between now and game time. If, however, the line has not reached 11 points by 7:00 PM ERT, then simply get the line available.
I firmly believe this will be a single digit game and one that Milwaukee is capable of winning. So, trying to get the extra ‘hook’ is worthwhile, but not when game time is just an hour away.
Simulator Projections
My proprietary sports handicapping database and simulator shows a high probability that Milwaukee will lose this game by 10 or fewer points. This will be a physical slow paced game and the sim shows a high probability that Milwaukee will get between 34 and 39 total rebounds and will attempt between 46 and 53 total shots. In past games where these levels of performance were met Milwaukee is 9-4 against the money line making 12.4 units per one unit wagered when they grab 34 to 39 rebounds in a game over the last two seasons; 9-4 against the money line making 10.8 units per one unit wagered in slower paced games where they attempt 46 to 53 shots over the last two seasons.Comment -

My bad , went back and looked I teased that bet. Had it mixed up with another one I had going. think the final was 60 - 54 so even if you got 10 you won. Thnx for the pick John I was looking at the Michigan game and glad I went with this one instead. Was gone the other day and missed the 6 game winning night (bummer) But way to go. I also liked what the guy said about John losing no credibility I think he's truly a blessing especially to those of us who are newer to sports wagering. I've really learned alot which is why I started this I love learning new things went from craps to ponies now sports betting and still following the ponies.
