OU didn't look completely hopeless yesterday, Virginia did. VA has fits sometimes trying to get the ball into the hoop. The quick spurt teams are the ones who run away from OU, VA is playing right into their hands. OU has some bigs I like and Davis looks like a player.

MSU -5 (2x)
Can't win with one player (Kemba Walker). MSU struggled against Chaminade but that was more of a overlook game then them just really not being a dominant team. If they beat up Conn on the boards like Izzo teams do then it is going to be a hellish day for Connecticut. MSU is too good this year to not win this game.

Gonzaga +1.5 (3x)
Gonzaga matches up well with Marquette. Elias Harris has been awful so far this year and with no one for Marquette to really match up with him he has a real shot to get going. Add that to Gray, Sacre, and Goodson and Gonzaga may be on to something. I'm not ready to make this team dogs yet to an average team like Marquette. Kansas St and SD St are both very physical big teams which are the teams that Gonzaga will struggle with. These little Marquette guys should be in for a rough day.

Washington thrives off of out hustling people for second chance opportunities. That is how they extend their runs. They are very active, fast, and love to deflect balls. This gets you some blow outs when you are far superior to the competition. But when you play smart teams that rebound and can defend usually you are in for a rough day. Michigan St is great on the boards and even though I couldn't believe they went down to UConn yesterday I can't believe they are a dog today. Washington had their first test yesterday and came up short. I see the thinking...Washington blows people out, they lost to Kentucky in a close one. MSU struggled with Chaminade and lost to Conn. I get it, on paper if we knew nothing about these teams I guess I would favor Wash too. But, maybe Conn is better then we first anticipate, maybe they weren't paying attention to Chaminade, maybe any team in the tournament would have blown out Virginia. Like MSU here.
