Southern Illinois with one of the dumbest coaching decisions I’ve seen this season. The coach literally just screwed his team. So sad to see coaches do this kind of thing to a team that played so hard.


Down two with 39.6 left. He instructs them to foul which is ignorant. You’re playing an average offensive team that you can D up. Play the possession out and have 9 seconds to get a play off and tie or win. Instead they start fouling and totally screw themselves. This is all on the coach

Literally no good coach would make this call. Such a terrible and odd decision. Extending the game with plenty of time left and only down a possession. Just absolutely can’t make a case for doing that.

Think it very similar to when unlv come to uni last week, expect panthers to be able to dictate tempo as they almost always do.
