That w.car one was just another case of the steam making no sense! I seriously think some ppl see a team like them w crappy record and bet against not even bothering to realize what a difficult schedule they have played!

I agree, I saw that move a few points and definitely thought about pulling the trigger on western but just wasn’t sure I was ready to trust them. I tend to like to fade steam as well!

Texas A&M -2.. don't want line to get away from me so played now. Only teams zona been beating teams they outsize and out athlete, not gonna be the case here. Aggies been smoking good teams on nuetral courts and went to USC and took them apart no problem, and some of that was missing a guy! One of most impressive teams in country in the early going imo. I'll take them to handle perpetually overrated wildcats even in their gym!

Utah/butler under 139.5.. this game was played in the 120s last season and both teams shot 50% or better on their 2 point attempts. Both adj tempo's slightly quicker this season but think that because still early, both still very close to same average length of possession. Fully expect against each other amount of possessions should be down. Both teams offensive efficiency down from last year while both defensive numbers are better. Looks like a game that played in the 60s to me.

I'm a huge fan of Vermont this year and get annoyed as at times can't find a line on them. They went to Kentucky to start season and gave them everything they could handle. Problem is they on their 4th consecutive road game with still one more to come and they wore down vs bucknell last 10 minutes of their last game. Also looks like secret out on them as line dropped from 4.5 to 3 quick! I think they can play with Marquette but the circumstances not the best for them here so might have to pass.

How long shocka smart been with Texas now 2-3 years? Curious are any of the Vcu kids ones he recruited or are they all gone? Seems like that would be huge motivating factor if there were still some of his recruits he left behind but I dunno if that the case, anyone know?

Nova -5.. done getting beat by this team, little worried about mizzou transfer Williams being bit of problem for cats down low but they typically smaller and deal with it well, zags perimeter d been a issue and you know that not good against a nova team who can stroke it. It can say "neutral site" by this game all it wants zags will learn rather quickly it anything but, the garden is the old big east playground and will be incredibly one sided here..

Texas tech -5.. no secret I really like Nevada this season but red raiders no slouches and have a very strong home court. Tech has only dropped 3 home games a year the last 2 seasons in the very tough big 12, one of those losses each year was being edged out by a excellent Kansas team. This is the toughest rebounding and interior defense the wolf pack has seen not only this year but counting last season as well and it not even close. Wolf pack got handled last season in the tourney by big12 Iowa state and think the big12 gets them again to give them their 1st loss of the year.

If you can find a Creighton team total, consider the over. ND is bad defensively and they play very fast.

Been keeping an eye on things on here for a bit now, so finally dipping my toe and making first post!

All the way with you on A&M (ML) - they seem to relish being on the road and Arizona never seem to live up to any hype - not much of a thinker there. (Cue wildcats rolling....)

Also got Nova -4, Utah +7.5 (as has been said, lots of points for a good team with low scoring game), UConn +6 (Still not keen on huskies, but have a feeling they can at least hang around in a low scoring game), Virginia +4.5 and Nevada +5.5. Feeling least optimistic about Nevada, time will tell.

Troy pk.. I know I said was gonna pass with Troy missing a key player but they have been without him for a few games and other guys have stepped up. Big game for them, prob more important in their eyes than to uab and think at a pick'em at home there just too much value to pass up.

Smu +4.. 1st road game for mustangs but first real test on the season for tcu. Unlike Ttech the horn frogs weren't great protecting their home court down the stretch last season. I have these teams very evenly rated so think we get highly competitive game so gimmie the points.

The notion that nova won’t come out and do this in the first half is gone as of the past few games. Jay wright has lit a fire in them to come out gunning. Wish I took the First Half too.

Love that they playing strong out the gates, honestly my biggest concern was a slow start and having to come back and probably falling short of the number. If they play 2 complete halves here it should be easy, just hope the good start doesn't have them less motivated to begin 2nd!!
