This is why beating college hoops long term with KenPom around is almost impossible. Way, WAY too many weak lines that become literally free money because of the number crunchers churning out bullshit lines in the nerd cave.

I've watched both of them play twice, and watched this game basically from start to finish because I had a decent-sized bet on it.

I had Towson -7 here so figured there was a reason they were only -3.5. Guess not.

I haven't been very impressed with either team so far this year to be honest.

Kansas was playing great about a month ago. They absolutely demolished Baylor to start off conference play. When they aren't shooting well they struggle. They desperately need Selden to resemble the guy we saw back in November/December and I'm not sure he can play that way on a consistent basis.

I've had my eye on this game for awhile and I would've said 9.5 a week or two ago but I think recent play will bump it down a bit. 9.5 wouldn't shock me but 7-8 is more likely I think.

Why not? A good opp to you might not be a good opp to someone else and vice versa. I'll decide on Saturday if I'm taking it but it's a good one to discuss.

He produces a ton of soft lines.

Vegas copies his info almost number for number. Track it. I have zero doubt about that.

For a guy like me, that's a bad thing. Vegas used to post lines that made sense relative to situation. Not anymore. It's strictly numbers-based now, which means it's really hard to read into some of the bullshit lines they post (other than just going to KenPom's page and recognizing why). There is zero human element in a line anymore, which is really stupid to discount IMHO.
