I am curious to see how the labby plays out with only official jm b&c bets since they have hire win percentage. A few series losses were won on A officially but at -110 went on to lose B&C. I am sure
It would be less variance but may be less profit as well.
I enjoyed this backtest cause it provides a reality check for those trying to make couple thousand a season or hold labby on a pedalstel. Note during Feb the labby players were actually only even with a heavy line.Comment -

#2246Up to each individual if he wants to carry them to next season, system, take the loss, or different sport.

You can divide the total amount in play by your unit size to figure out what percent of your bankroll would be in play. I believe total loss during the season was around $1,600 starting with a $200 labby line. Based on a 100 unit bankroll that represents a low point for last season of 16%. Biggest bet was almost $1,000, which represents 10 units based on a 100 unit bankroll or 2 units as a starting labby line. Because there was only a 16% decrease through out the season I think people can go as high as 5% for a starting labby line using this system while avoiding risk to ruin ratio. With a $4k starting bankroll noted in spread sheet and $1600 drop during the season that would make it a 40% decrease in bankroll or 40 unit drop. All really depends on how many units you start with on your labby line. The more systems you follow the less you want your labby line to start with.
Before I thought you could start with 10% on your labby line with out going bust, but I was wrong; that is the reason I wanted to test it first. If you always did 10% on your line instead of stagnant unit through the season you would go bust. I believe the heaviest labby line starting with $200 ($50 x 4) was $2400 in play.
All the answers are in the spread sheet or shown in the graph.Comment -

#2251Its all in the spread sheet. At end of last season there was a string of wins which kept all lines cleared. That is only one season though. If you look at the spread sheet I have the labby listed for each day, risk, amount won, and graph on sheet two.

#2257What is classic Wallco's JM, I think you are confusing a bunch of systems?
Washington and Houston are both JM plays tonight, both are A bets so they do not fall under 7/5.
Houston is a B bet under Wallco's system as well.
Good luckComment -

You are betting that they will cover (or win if favored) at least one of those three games with a progressive chase. V1 means the three teams they will be playing are from the opposing conference. V2 means two of the three are from the opposing conference. V3 means they will be playing teams from the same conference in at least two of the games. You will buy three points on the spread if the team you are betting is the underdog and play the moneyline if the team is favored.
Hope this helps.
I don't play the system to a tee and doing so is probably not a good idea, I however do not chase my losses.
I do feel that the system has validity however and combined with solid handicapping can give you a real edge.Comment -

#2271If you are playing the JM system you will take a team who is about to go on a three or more game road trip.

#2273Wallco NBA Chase 110
2012-13 System to date: 38-0 (fin. series)
System profit/loss: +38.00 units (fin. series)
Current open series: 2 (-5.57 units)
(1/16/13):
#40 Houston (+4) (B) - Loss
v1 Plays
(A) 22-18
(B) 10-7
(C) 6-0
(D) 0-0

#40 Resumes (C) on 1/18/13
We will ALWAYS play the M/L on favorites and the point spread (-110) on dogs. The team underlined and highlighted blue is the play. There is no point buying in this system, with one exception, if your team is the favorite, and buying down to a (-½) point spread is cheaper than playing the M/L, then by all means, buy the points, otherwise, M/L on all favorites and point spread on dogs. All results will be based on this principle. All lines and standings are based on FINAL lines from ScoresandOdds.com/. If one of the teams we are playing switches from a favorite to a dog, after my initial post, make sure you get the appropriate line if it differs from what I have posted. The wins and losses will be based on who is the dog team, and who is the favorite on ScoresandOdds.com/ final lines. I will try to update my post as often as I can throughout the day, if the lines change. However, it is the individual bettor’s responsibility to get the appropriate line if it differs from the line in my post.
System rules and backtest can be found in post #219.Last edited by Wallco99; 01-17-13, 05:43 PM.Comment -

#2274I remember when I was a newly wet... I was also asking the same questions again and again. People became more and more irritated, the same did I. So I just thought f.u.c.k it, Then I must find my info self. And I did. If you do your homework correct you will quickly understand how things work out. It's not easy if you're not an American, but with a little edge in English, things will come easier.Last edited by Mrscofield25; 01-17-13, 10:02 AM.Comment
