#464TLP Plays, based on early lines.
7:00 PM ET Syracuse Orange, n/p if SYR < -4
9:00 PM ET Kansas Jayhawks, n/p if KU < -3.5
8:00 PM ET Portland Trail Blazers, n/p if POR < -1.5
8:30 PM ET Denver Nuggets, n/p if DEN > +4.5
Using a teaser on KU & SYR may be a good option tonight?
GL
Check on lines and see were they’re trending.
If play is on a favored and the line is trending > then get in early.
If trending < on a favored, then wait 15 to 20min before tip-off.
The same goes for Dog plays and M/L Plays.
Never lay points, CBB, NBA, my cap is –175.

#471yeah, confusing. i thought less than -4 meant -4.5, -5 ... (and -3.5, -3 and so on is greater than, which means play?)Comment -

#473"n/p if POR < -1.5"
.. so if portland is -3.5 now is that a "good sign" meaning Play? or no play, because they are less than -1.5?
and is No PLay the correct play? -- or should you take Minnesota +3.5 instead, because they are @home?
sorry if this question seems dumb but i am super new to this lingo.

OKAY! -- thanks for clearing that up barts... i should have just read p12. ummm... i'm sure this isn't the last time someone will wander in here like me and ask that question/be confused. -thanks for understanding

As he points out, he recommends getting the best line possible, and is listing the cutoff point. If you see a line moving up, don't wait for it to go higher. He's not saying to wait for it to go higher, just that if it winds up going down below the cutoff point, it's a no play.

#475Do any of you ever buy points to get to the point spread listed by Shiva? Just wondering. For example, I have Denver at +2.5 now instead of +4.5. Not sure how this would work in the event that Denver lost by 3 or more. Sorry if some of this was already explained.Comment -

1) I don't know about others, but I don't buy points.
2) Are you sorry enough to read even a couple of pages, or even the past few posts?
Apparently this is more complicated than I thought.
Shiva did NOT say that he got Denver +4.5

#483Since I can see the same questions coming up again and again (hasn't happened that much yet, but I expect it will happen), maybe it would be a good idea to come up with an FAQ and post it every so often, or at least have the post number (and maybe edit the first post of the thread to include it) so that when people ask, we can just say, "see the 1st post", or "see post number ..."Comment -
