How to Read the Pick:

Using the pick below as an example, the 1st number is the day, as is October 30th. Then the name of the team. Sometimes you will see for example Portland / NY Knicks, as the name, that would mean I am taking NY Knicks. So, whatever team is listed after the / is the team I am going with if you see a / character in the selected pick. Of course the line pretty much gives it away.

I use different strategies, some are weighted, but one is straight up betting, which is perfect for just posting picks. I am hoping to end this season with a +18% ROI. Although betting straight up received a 18.61% ROI last season by itself, I will be stopping, personally, at just over 5.5%, but I will continue to post since my other picks will still be going on.

I have a couple of "systems" for NBA and one of them is just plain ol straight up betting. This system has earned some nice returns in previous years of back testing, but one of my "mantras" is IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE YOU CAN LOSE IT ALL. Something I copy and paste on just about all my printed material. It is knowing when to walk away that can make for a losing or winning season. This one system has gone as high as 18.61% in back testing. However, what I do when I start actually using a system is to take the highest three and if I break into that then I stop. So, for straight up NBA my highest three are 18.61, 11.49, and 5.57 percent. Once straight up breaks a 5.57% I will stop that system but continue the others until they break into their own stop points.

Back and forth, they were winning, they were losing, and when the dust settled, both teams were victorious. Nice wins

Well, that completes my personal straight up system as it ended the NBA season at a ROI of 5.78%, so I am happy with that.

I still have my other systems and will be posting the NBA plays. I just will not be betting straight up with them, they will be part of my money management weighted strategy.
