2 units on that Boston 1H play, maybe more...
SA comes out flat in the first half of most road games (see NY Knicks) and Boston should be plenty riled. That said, I think Boston covers the -1, but I want to play it this way for a couple reasons.
If Boston doesn't cover that 1H bet, then I'm free to double up on my second half wagers, which in this case, I feel works well, as the Spurs are quite predictable in the 2H (at least, quite predictable relatively speaking).
Considering playing SA 1Q, 1H, and game at this point, but right now, BOS -0.5 is my only play.
I'm due for a loss, so bet accordingly.

SA 1H vs 2H breakdown on this year's Rodeo road-trip:
Following is a breakdown of the Spurs scoring differential in the first half of games on this road trip. The Spurs are starting out slow and finishing strong, though one could make an argument that the opposing team, playing at home, is doing the opposite (coming out strong in the 1H, but giving away the game).
2-8 @NY 1H NY by 16; Final: SA by 6 in OT.
2-6 @WAS 1H SA by 1; Final: SA by 8.
2-5 @IND 1H TIED; Final: SA by 27.
1-31 @PHO 1H PHO by 6; Final: SA by 3.
1-29 @SEA 1H SA by 2; Final SEA by 3.
1-28 @UTH 1H UTH by 10; Final UTH by 6.
SA is 0-6 ATS in the 1H in this stretch, leading only twice (by 2 against SEA and by 1 to a WAS team without Butler). Only once were the Spurs outscored in the 2nd Half (against SEA).
Ultimately, this speaks to the Spurs strength as a savvy veteran team that can withstand a team's 1st half home court surge before locking down in the 2nd half (as evidenced by their 4-2 record on this road trip to date).

MiamiBoy, I know the feeling. I should have put more on it myself, but just doubled up on my 1H bet (common practice for me when betting 1H lines relating in any way to the Spurs).

Jeez, I was at the game and thought I was in the twilight zone. 1-17 from the field in the first quarter? Really? At halftime, I called in to one of my friends and told him to log onto my betjam account and double up on Spurs 2nd half (again, for those that read this thread, a common practice for me with the Spurs). So, while I won't be counting that particular wager, my night with the spurs went like this:
SA -12 +.5
SA 1H -1.1
Over 1H -1.1
SA 2H +2
Total: 2-2 +.3
I couldn't log on to post my Spurs 2H play (as I was at the game) so I won't count it in my record.

They'll own Dallas tomorrow. Parker owns Kidd and Diop was too valuable to Dallas. The Mavs were put together to be able to beat the Spurs. Losing Diop and Harris was killer for them in their pursuit of beating the Spurs. Spurs will roll tomorrow.Comment -
