I think the problem is endorsements. We can pay Kobe and Lebron $20 million a year salary. But they won't get the big endorsements from Nike, Adidas etc if they play for a small market team. Where a player plays has to do a lot with what the sponsors who pay the endorsements want them to play. NBA is run like a business and not like a sports club.Comment -

JJ has had the worst supporting cast ever. How do you expect a guy like Johnson to carry a team all by himself. Josh Smith is a joke. If ATL don't sign anyone besides Johnson they are in for another failure season. Though people don't understand that JJ was being triple teamed at times in the playoffs because he's ATL's only real threat. The only game plan you need to know to beat Atlanta is stop Joe Johnson.
