#37GM, I have been a big Shaq fan but it is time for him to retire. When he didn't dunk the layup and the end of the first half, it was clear that it is time to go. Having him out there was like the Cavs only playing with 4 people. He wasn't fast enough on the pick and roll so that the defense could sag off of him and have plenty of time to get back if he got the ball cuz he was so slow getting to the hoop. On defense unless he was under the basket he could guard shit. He reminded me of barkley in his last year when he had gained so much weight. I love the guy and love his commercials but his playing days are done.Comment -

JJ Hickson didn't even get a chance to prove himself this series...Not saying he would of done a ton better than Jamison, but still. Jamison had nothing going for him this series, Hickson is a slasher, and would of taken at least some of Garnetts energy away by his constant moving. I didn't even know Jamison played tonight.Comment -

#51If you guys truly think Lebron threw the series you are out of your mind. Everything about his performance tonight screams that the elbow is badly injured. The effort was much better than game 5, it's not like 19 rebounds just fell into his lap. He was attacking on offense he just wasn't executing. Anyone who has had an elbow injury knows that it becomes painful/impossible to have a strong grip. Look how many times he had the ball stripped. They were plays he normally makes routinely. I'm not making excuses, just trying to understand the situation. Some of you guys are going way overboard with your overreactions.
Goat, it would make sense. Mo has been his closest friend on the team and has always been realistic about things. He knew this was their last game together. He also probably knows the full extent of the injury.
Please quit talking about his elbow. You make him look like a bigger pussy.Comment -

#52The King had 9 turnovers tonight with only 8 FG's and was 11 for 39 the last 3 games from the field. If your elbow is hurting why not get to the hole more and quit jacking bullshit shots???Comment -

#53Bullshit Williams... All your doing is making excuses for Lebron's lousy play. You don't think anyone else out there is injured this time of year? Kobe needs surgery on his hand, has multiple injuries but have you heard him say "I'm a no excuses BUT my elbow is hurting"?? Lebron sucked in every game this series but game 3. He's a turnover machine but it's his effort that will be criticized for years. He just didn't give a dam. Did you see the last timeout MB called? Go watch the tape again. Your Messiah sat on the bench wouldn't even look at his team or listen to his coach. He gave up. He quit. He's a fuking quitter. Do you think MJ would have quit in that spot? Do you think MJ would wait until game 6 to finally hit a 3 pointer??? This dude went the entire series without hitting a 3 until the last minutes of the game. He watched balls land in front of him and left Pierce wide open on several occasions.
Please quit talking about his elbow. You make him look like a bigger pussy.

Mac4lyfe, is always keeping it real. Dude is old school also and realizes the name on the front of the jersey is more important than the one on the back.
Too many young punk fans and "ballers" and "Kings" don't realize that.
What Lebron did with that team was shameful at the end. Sold them fuks out. If I was a Cleveland fan I would be glad he left. I want people that care about the team and winning a championship.Comment -

Then he pulls this disappearing act. He comes up with some bullshit injury, never told the Cav's medical staff or Mike Brown for that matter. He uses it to become an attention whore but say's he makes no excuses. WTF. Tonight he reiterated... "Not using the elbow as an excuse, it limited me some". Guess what King. That's an excuse...
If he leaves that will tell me all I need to know about his character. Guy's like Williams will say "go get your money" and will still bow down to him with the highest bidder. They are brainwashed by the media pumping of him. While so far he hasn't won shit. 10 years from now they will still call him King while he won't have any rings unless he changes. I'm starting to see that many of the Cav's issues start and end with Lebron. Until he realizes that and improves, he'll never win.Comment -

#65LeBron is just a quitter. Best quote of the night came from Jackson on how they have no identity. Dancing/having fun all year and then when shit gets tough, they quit. They quit having fun, they quit what they do, they quit.
Sorry fellas, Lebron will never get it done, not with that attitude.
And he's a damned showoff. And I don't know about Mo having him quit bc he's leaving. I just think they turn into crybabies when shit gets rough. Shows you their character.
I hit Boston +600 on the series after game1 loss. I had Celts+2 in two parlays last night that both hit. I hate dancing hot shot, showoff faggotry, and I knew that sh*t wouldn't fly against the big three. The ONLY positional adv the Cavs had in that series was at Prince James' position, and the Celts have Pierce. This series shouldn't have even been as close as it was.
But what about Bosh?Comment -

#67The city really deserved better. This was probably worse than the Byner fumble. At least he tried to get in the endzone.
To be honest Lyon, I thought Lebron was the ultimate team mate until this year. It wasn't until he didn't re-signed that made me see that he was all about himself and what was best for him. I know most people are me first but I really thought he was different. I really thought he cared about the city and cared about his team mates. I would take a pay cut personally if it meant bringing a title to Cleveland. I grew up on Cleveland sports, I know the people, what they've been through economically. There proud people who keep getting shit on by the media that Cleveland is an awful place to live (and it's not except for the snow). So when he had the chance to make a big statement that could have lured top talent he said he would weigh his options. Like some HS cheerleader waiting to decide who she would grace by going to the prom with.
Then he pulls this disappearing act. He comes up with some bullshit injury, never told the Cav's medical staff or Mike Brown for that matter. #70LeBrons witness banner
So when LeBron publicizes his departure, does the city of Cleveland immediately take the 200'x500' banner down, or do they have some asshole on a scaffold painting a big faggot tear in his eye? Knowing my city, sharp money should be on a bucket of pearly paint.Comment
