WG: like your picks. just curious, does your picks factor in andrew bynum's injury and dwindling minutes? without him clogging up the middle, grabbing boards, blocking shots, and freeing up gasol, the lakeshow is like a different team. BOL today bro.

Yes mate. First of all I'm sure he will get his minutes and even without him the Lakers are still better.

Grumpy, big fan of your baseball thread so don't get me wrong here.....

How are the Lakers a better team? If they were a better team why are they tied through 4 games?

In my humble opinion that I have been stating from the beginning, these teams are perfectly even. If they played 100 games on a neutral court they would split 50/50. Do you know what the combined score is of this series? LA 376 - 372. LA has won 9 quarters, Boston has won 7. They are even.

Having said that, my pick tonight would be LA because they are getting points, but games like this come down to a lot of luck and I wouldn't risk too much on either team.

Lakers are better, they will win it all which makes them better. They can be better by a nail bite, they can be WAY better, it doesn't matter, they are BETTER. They have the best coach ever, they have the two best big men on the floor, they have the best player on the floor by far, they have the better clutch players, better shooters ... the Celtics have 3 hall of famers, but the fact they can't play two good games in a row, gives the Lakers the advantage they didn't have in 2008.

Nothing at all indicates LA is better except for biased opinion, nothing objective. Will LA come back and win in 7, perhaps, home court is big and we all know they won't go down without a fight.....

But they sure got dominated tonight by a team that is supposed to be worse. No strange one-sided foul tendencies. No lucky 7-7 for performances by Ray Allen. Just a phenomenal all-around team winning a big game.

About what you wrote. Again, when LA wins it all, it will be clear they are the best, pretty nice to see that what I said will happen is happening too bad I didn't bet on it. Anyway, the main thing is the Lakers have the best coach and one of the best players of all time. No matter who takes it Kobe is the MVP.
Now, the Lakers lost 3 games they should have won, and that is mainly because of super average play by players that had a very good postseason, like Ron Ron for example.
I have no doubt from game 6 things are going to change and the Lakers are going to play like they should. The only big advantage the Celtics have is the Bench. This series is good, but the play is not very good, too many mistakes by the two best teams on the planet.
