the -5.5 spread for the cavs and the -255 ML seems very low and fishy imo....

A -5.5 spread for a road team is VERY high for the playoffs. No road team in the playoffs this year thusfar has received a spread this high. I can't see the Cavs losing tomorrow, LeBron is going to go crazy. I am thinking possible triple double with 40 points.

Denver +2.5 -117 HEAVY

Tonight Denver visits Utah again. They are down 2-1 in the series. They have lost their last two games and were embarassed last game. Denver is just a team with too much pride and confidence in what they do to lose three in a row and basically close this series up with a loss. I think Denver will come out extremely focused and will play with much more effort tonight than Utah. Carmelo Anthony looked as PISSED as I have ever seen him the other game in foul trouble and I think he will have a monster game as he is a big mismatch for Utah. The public is pretty much split on this game yet the line has started to go down from Denver +2 to Denver +1.5. I don't think a Utah team without Okur and Kirilenko will be able to keep up with the Nuggets tonight, I see Denver scoring 110+.

We got Dick Bavetta reffing this game and he is the home team nightmare, 36-26 ATS for road teams. Bavetta is the 6th best ref out of 67 for road teams. Bavetta is notorious for keeping these playoff series and big games really close. Dan Crawford is also reffing who also favors road teams big time 39-34 ATS for road teams. Dan Crawford is the 17th best for road teams.

There is a reason why after Denver got blown out last game in Utah that Vegas is offering the same exact line for tonights game. My guess is that they think that Denver will take down game 4 and tie up the series.

SJ, I am a Jazz guy and even though I think they have a chance to win this series, this is the game that I have been saying they would lose. As much as I would like the jazz to win, I can't go against your thinking. I think you are right on and will follow.

Just stumbled across this thread and read it all now. I like your logic about using refs to bet NBA games as I think it's the one sport where their reffing styles can be a major factor. I notice we're both on Denver today, and Cleveland as well. Cle is up double digits midway thru the 3rd and I think LeBron is going to put in another 10 points.

where did u see it go to 1.5? the public is on denver and it went from 2 to 2.5

It went to 1.5 this morning on 5dimes.com. It is now at +2.5. Either way this line barely moved as it came out at +2, you can't really take too much out of the line other than that Denver got blown out last game and was given the same amount of points tonight, 2.

It was a damn shame that Denver didn't do shiit to help out Carmelo. We'll get it tomorrow tho. I just hate the ****in' Jazz with a passion tho. I'm a Rockets fan and don't care for other teams too but the Jazz just get under my skin. I just scream for someone to knock the hell out of their stupid ass players like Boozer and Okur. They are just dead weight in the playoffs that should be here for us to CASH ON. I mean, do they really think they are gonna win the championship?

Even when they had their precious Stockton, Malone, Hornacek, (sp?) etc. they couldn't get it done. My Rockets whooped their ass and then Jordan and the Bulls spanked them too. Okay I'm done...
