OKC +7.5 -127 HEAVY This one is pretty simple. The Lakers came out and jumped out to a huge lead vs OKC in the 1st quarter as most expected. OKC was playing very tight/nervous with it being their first ever playoff game and they really knocked themselves out of the game in the 1st. The fact is that OKC won the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter by 6 points. They got it together and competed with LAL. OKC got the cover and they really didn't play well at all. Durant had a horrible game. I think this one goes down to the last minute.

Two of the best refs in the NBA for road teams are reffing the OKC matchup. Tom Washington is 38-27 ATS for the road team and Greg Willard is 36-28 for the road team. A tidbit on the OKC/LAL line movement, 70% of the public is on the Lakers and the line dropped from LAL -6.5 to -5.5, one full point of reverse line movement.

Hey SJ, what was your record during the regular season? Is there a thread that may have this information? Solid work on the Suns 1H call as well!

I am leaning SA 1st Half and Game HEAVY for tomorrow, almost 100% taking this. I really feel that Brothers is going to ref this game tomorrow, he's the road team lover.
I have a veryy slight lean to Bobcats but want to look at that one more.

We got two of the best road team refs in the NBA. James Capers is 37-29 ATS for road teams, Mauer is 36-27 for the road team. Mauer is the 9th best ref for road teams and Capers is the 12 the best ref for road teams out of 67 refs.

All three refs heavily favor OVER in the Orlando game. Bill Spooner is the second best ref for OVERS (and I watched him ref the last Utah/Den game and he was calling foul after foul and sending each time to the line), Rodney Mott is the 7th best ref for OVERS, Salvatore is the 5th best for OVERS.

The last two home lines Dallas has received vs SA were -4 and -5. Tonight after Dalls winning both of those games the oddsmaker goes out and gives a line of -4 which quickly goes down to -3 despite public pounding of Dallas?

Dirk Nowitzki had the game of his career last game shooting like 95% and just playing perfectly all around. SA was double/triple teaming him and he was finding the open man everytime for uncontested 3's. Now with all this being said, Dallas only covered the spread by 1 point despite it being Dirk's best NBA game to date. The line movement is very telling as it's very obvious that Vegas wants as much money on SA as possible, just like LA yest. I think the Spurs win this one outright tonight.

I will wait out the line and see if the public steam on Dallas will move it back in my favor.

i didnt bother waiting. spurs are -111 at pinnacle which suggests a +3 isnt far from happening.

yeah, buying pts in the playoffs makes sense with all these sharp lines. books dont make mistakes on some games like they might with a full slate of nba/ncaa....

then again, there is a full slate of baseball....i wonder if certain managers are hired for each sport to move lines/track action.

ive said it before - would love for sbr to get a Q/A going with a sportsbook manager one day. though im sure they wouldnt be completely honest about how things work behind the scenes.
