I am a boston homer! I love it, all the papers today have big baby droolin on the front cover. Everywhere you look you can't miss it.

Hopefully another win here on Sunday, then we can take 1 in LA for another banner.

I have just caught up on dexters thread and having NBA knowledge and having a gameplan for capping are two different animals. Your most valuable asset as a capper is the way you respond to a cold streak. Goat, you can have a game pegged and then see a 10 point lead vanish by pure laziness, not that you technically made the wrong call but that you just had a bad beat. Your telling me in game 3 that Allen was gonna pull an o-fer? You just can't cap that no matter what, or pierce getting in early foul trouble. They have still not played up to there potential, and don't give me kobes ability to win cause fisher went off and lakers caught a break. The series should be 3-1 right now celtics, and I know you and others do not agree with me but that's how I see it.

As far as me coming at you, of course I will any guy hear that pounds his chest like you. I'm not hear to be the best capper in cyberspace, last time I checked sbr doesn't pay me to post my picks. Your wallet should be your bottom line. Dexter is right stating when it's time to pay the man you start to question what you are doing at times. I have yet to see you grind through it to see your reaction and how it affects your decisions. I have nothing against you, you just come across as a know it all at times. You told me to ditch my models cause they won't work? How do you know that? Why would you say that? And 58% clip is damn good IMO, so something is working I guess. Anyway just thought I would chime in since you mentioned my name.

I love boston getting +6.5 for game 6.

Boston is looking to rap it up, and they are a nasty road team. I would imagine they cover this easily. I may even take some action on the boston ML. +240 is way too good to pass up.

so you went from being all over the lakers earlier in the series ("i live in 2008") to now liking the celtics?

you can break down this game all you want with film etc - the lakers will force a game 7 and once the celts get down in this one they'll know they still have slight cushion with a remaining game. something like 100-90 lakers.

I don't know who's gonna win game 6 but Boston ats is a much better bet. Boston will use all their gas in game 6, they know they will not win a game 7. Lakers will blow out Boston in a game 7 by 20+ bro. It won't even be close.

This is 100% false these guys trust eachother, they can win a game 7. Lakers have a better shot at blowing out boston in game 6 than in 7.

The Celtics have a better chance of winning game 6, imo, as a Laker win will give them a huge momentum boost going into game 7. That being said, Boston has the capacity to lose game 6 and not lose confidence in themselves in game 7. They won't lay down.

I agree with shoe.

I think Game 6 might be ugly. Game 7, however, would go down to the wire IMHO.

I personally think GM has it backwards.

Same here. With the exception of the Lakers spread in game 1, I haven't felt really confident in my handle on the series. I'm sitting on Boston futures to win about 15u, so I think I'm just going to ride them out for Game 6 and then re-evaluate. If forced to pick, I think I would take Boston +points in both games and expect a winner in at least one of them.

What does this mean? How can you have "nothing left in the tank" for Game 7 of an NBA Finals? This makes no sense, GM. A team with as much heart as Boston would not roll over and get blown out in that kind of spot -- period.

Boston will be physically and mentally drained if it gets to 7. They will get smacked the same way LA got smacked in game 6 in 08
